pkmn spectrum is a combined pokemon discussion and role playing forum.
We have a decent-sized general area, a pokemon category to discuss anything under the sun, exchange wifi codes, even shop request stuff.
And of course, we have general role plays and section for pokemon role plays that aren't part of the main game.
A big part of pkmn spectrum is SPECTRUM, the rp game on the site.
It is a free form pocket monsters role play centered within the anime universe. There are no set plots, trainers can start off at any level, canons and fan characters are both loved, the legendaries are deities, we have pretty much every region for your characters to play in- and they can be in multiple threads at once... Oh, and did I mention you DON'T need to make accounts for each character you play? That's right, you play them all from one account! ( To answer any concerns, you color-coordinate your characters, so that each char's post is done in another color so as to avoid confusion.)
And, while we do require basic applications for fan characters and auditions for canons, it's not asking THAT much, and the posting requirement is a mere 200 words a post. More is loved, of course, but 200 is a fairly easy thing to maintain!
We have kanto, johto, the islands, hoenn, sinnoh, orre, and the ranger regions! You can be a trainer, coordinater, breeder, criminal syndicate member, researcher, ruin maniac, almost anything!
(At this time, we're not accepting wild pokemon beyond the canon legendaries, pokemorphs, or oc gym leaders/elite/champions from regions we don't have a part of the game so far.)
Still though, we're brand new, have a tons of spots open, and even if you don't want to take part in the SPECTRUM game, there's still the large discussion area and the role playing sections within them to post in! (in the rp areas outside the SPECTRUM game, anything goes and it's by your rules )
