Usually im pretty good at comprehending all the wibbly wobbly timey wimey nitty gritty that goes over most people's heads but to me the whole big bang two concept doesn't make a grain of sense.I was fine with the jumping back and forth through time, its only the universe being destroyed and replaced with an identical one i find hard to get my head round.is there anyone who understood it better than i did that could explain it.

I think I might be able to help. How extensive do you want the explanation to be?

Okay, so, you understand about what was keeping the Earth together when the rest of the universe was disappearing?

It was also the source of the explosion. Now, the pandorica, the ultimate prison, created to survive absolutely anything. The best minds in the universe came together to create it. So, it cannot be erased, like everything else.

The pandorica uses the Doctor's and Amy's memories as a template to get the information to recreate it, all at once. Amy's memories used to bring the Doctor back.
(not part of the explanation) I wonder if it picked up memories of Gallifrey too. o.o

I can see how the earth in the pandoricaverse is the same one with a different history because earth could never have formed without the rest of space. There would be no racnoss to form the planet in the first place,no jagaroth ship to take off on warp drive and infuse the primordial soup with radiation and certainly no time lords/osirans/exxilons to influence human evolution.

Right. (I actually watched that episode with the Jagaroth on Netflix) ha, their little round space ships were cute. XD And I don't think the Pandorica would create a new Gallifrey, since The Doctor remembers it being destroyed and then re-destoryed EOT style. Which kinda sucks. *Nerd Moment*

but if for that moment the doctor could mould the universe with his memories he could create a universe like a god, perhaps intentionally forget the daleks and other nasty things.Even though that would probably end the series, the daleks have whats called Joker Immunity, although they are totally evil the doctor can never win completely because they are too important to the fans
