The Librarian looked at Aragorn, waving back at him and smiling. She noticed how the girl looked at her and frowned a bit. Already making enemies on her first day, it seemed. She sighed quietly to herself at that.

Kari, assuming that this new lady was 'Greg's' girlfriend, she sighed in disappointment. She really didn't want to wait around for the confirmation. She glanced at Aragorn and the Librarian and said, "Well, you've found your friends....I don't want to keep you waiting. I'll see you later." She turned to walk off.
Aragorn stared back at her, not really knowing what to say or do. Is this how humans normally acted? And what if this girl wasn't safe? He glanced at the Librarian, a look of confusion showing on his face.

Under the light of the moon outside the ruins of the old C block Davros looked at a row of ten Daleks that were spread out before him."This darkness is sufficient cover,"he informed them,"Take up your assigned positions and await further instructions."
"We-O-Bey!."was the rattled response.
With the elegance of a choreographed dance troupe the Daleks turned as one and pulled out of the stinking alleyway, they then pulled away from the group and scattered silently across the campus.Occasionally they passed chattering groups of students on various errands but they kept to the shadows and were not noticed by anyone. They arrived at their separate destinations and stood statue still in very exposed areas like courtyards, among the other strange sculptures and projects one finds in a university they could just about pass for modern art or perhaps something dumped as part of a student prank. One of the ten positioned itself on the grass verge of a path that Kari Smith often walked down...

Aragorn thought that he heard something -- and he glanced around to see if he could see anything. The Librarian hadn't given him a response one way or the other, and he didn't really know whether he should go after the human girl or just let her go off. She's on the campus now, so she should be safe anyway. "Wait...but that's where she said that guy was that she didn't...." he thought to himself. He glanced around, still not knowing what to do.
Kari wished that the handsome man would have followed her, but his staying behind only seemed to confirm what she had suspected before. That woman that he was waiting for was probably his girlfriend. She sighed, not really paying attention to where she was going. She knew the campus and its paths well, even by night. In the moment of meeting "Greg" she had forgotten about Dave Ross entirely. She tuned onto a path that she took often.
Jed and Emmehujiat had both arrived on Earth and were also walking in the direction of the campus, but they were not together.

The Librarian shrugged at Aragorn's look. She could tell he was concerned. She could also tell that the human girl didn't like her that much. "What's going on?" she asked Aragorn.

Aragorn looked back at the Librarian and stared at her, completely confused. "What do you mean? I.....I just got here and was watching the humans. Then I met a couple of human girls, and the one that was walking with me told me that there was someone she had run into earlier that she was scared of. She asked me to walk with her. I told her that I was waiting on some friends....oh...and she's on the project as well....she is a student here....."
He wasn't sure that that's what the Librarian was asking, but he hoped it would explain the situation well enough.

The Librarian nodded, though she knew he was hiding something. "Well, I just noticed some worry from you. You could go keep an eye on her if you think this guy is a threat to the project. It seems a good enough reason for Mr. High-and Mighty."

Aragorn grinned at the Librarian's reference to Emmehujiat as 'Mr. High and Mighty.' He looked back at the Librarian, "Well....I don't know if the guy is a threat, but she seemed to be scared of him....so....I guess I'll go after her."
He turned to run after Kari, noting the path that she had taken. As he walked in that direction, he saw something out of the corner of his eye -- and it was something that wasn't human. He had never seen or heard of a Dalek before, but he knew that it was an alien here. Not wanting to startle Kari, he silently, but quickly moved to try to catch up with her.
Emmehujiat saw Aragorn go off, but he didn't really care. As he got closer to the Librarian he called out very loudly, "I'm here! Now where is everyone else?"

The Librarian looked at Emmihujidat. "Not sure. Aragorn went to check on something, possibly an alien threat."
Just then Gejasuged and Igoefryde landed. They got out and started looking for the group.

(Gejasuged and Igoefryde)
Emmehujiat laughed, "I should have been informed....oh well...let him handle it."
The Time Lords didn't know what the Pasajar's were supposed to look like. Jed spotted the others and stood next to the Librarian. "Hey," he said.

(And you have teh other Time Lord?)
The Librarian looked at Jed. "Hey, glad to see you made it alright."
Gejasuged and Igoefryde approached the group. "I apologize if we are late," Gejasuged said.

The Reaper came into view as well. "Disgusting creatures the hum....." She only stopped because Emmehujiat sent her a dirty look. He frowned. "Something isn't right here....something seems out of its time...several somethings....something around here....could be what we are after."
He snickered as he thought to himself that maybe Aragorn would be killed and he wouldn't have to even do anything.

The Dalek watched Kari with its unmoving eye and let her casually pass,it had no orders to kill and besides there was something else nearby, something setting off all sorts of warnings in its mind.It was as if an enemy of the Daleks was close at hand but its trace somehow scattered.Irritated by the constant ringing that made the warning the Dalek stuck to its orders and remained completely motionless as another figure ran by,a man that the Dalek somehow knew was something to do with the great evil Dalek kind feared most of all.

Kari glanced at 'Greg' as he approached. He slowed down when he finally caught up with her. Looking around, his eyes fell on the Dalek. "What is that?" he asked. He'd seen how the campus was decorated.
Kari turned to where he was looking and replied, "I don't know...something that one of the art students made?"
Aragorn stared at it for a little longer, sure that it was something that was both out of its time and something not of Earth origin. He frowned. Perhaps this thing belonged to the aliens they were looking for. He didn't know. Whatever it was, it didn't seem to be doing them any harm. Still, he knew that the Librarian had directed him in the right direction.
Nervously, he suggested, "I...I think I should escort you back to your building."
Kari blushed slightly at that, and agreed, "I would like that." He started to lead her away from the Dalek, giving it one last glance as he walked away.
