A Seemingly Peaceful Day

'Alright, we should probably pick up your stuff while we're there. Do you think we should rent a ether place or stick with what I've got at the moment?' Gandalf sent as he changed directions toward their new destination.

"Let's just stick with what we've got for now," Braxa sent as she headed for her house. "Oh, hope the nuisance isn't there. He'll want me to make something for him too." Not to mention he'd tease her about moving in with Gandalf.

Gandalf laughed at that, 'There's just one problem with the current place. There's sorta...kinda...only really one bed.' he sent back.

"Oh..." was all Braxa could manage. That and a furious blush as to what that might imply. "Well... uh..." She tried to think up some kind of solution that wasn't quite as awkward.

Gandalf turned away as they kept walking, 'Uh...we can always just get another place if you want. I'll try to find another place if the 'awkward factor's' too high.'

"No, it's just... I'm trying to think of a way to make this work," Braxa sent. "Maybe I can see if I can bring a mattress over until I can get another bed." She resisted saying we because that would imply that they were together. Like as a couple.

'Alright then, that works.' Gandalf sent back, grateful that the awkwardness had decreased a bit. He noticed her overuse of "I", a little embarrased by what he'd just brought up.

Soon they were at Braxa's house, there was a note on the door from her brother. It said that he had gone to hang out at a friend's house and wouldn't be back until evening. This made her smile. "Super Dork isn't here. Sweet!" She walked in and went for her bedroom to get packed.

Gandalf breathed a fake sigh of relief, then went inside to help Braxa pack.

Braxa first went looking for a suitcase that would work No need to worry about it not being big enough, just about if it was empty or not. Soon she got her clothes and things packed up good, then she grabbed the mattress and brought both into the front room, near teh door before heading into the kitchen to start making lunch. She knew she was starving.

"I'll be right back." Gandalf said as he picked up Braxa's stuff, "I'll just drop everything off, I should be back before you finish. Don't worry about lunch for me, I had a big breakfast." he said as he walked out, carrying Braxa's stuff.

"Alright, thank you," Braxa said after him. She looked through the cabinets and fridge for something she wanted to eat and/or make. As she looked, her mind wandered. The idea of moving in together brought back the idea of them going out. It would hopefully deter the brat, but if low class wasn't enough to do that, being with someone else definitely wouldn't, especially with his track record, even if it's with the one girl.

Waleffijegrutadekuj had been hearing rumors, and he wanted to see if there was any truth to them. He also wanted...needed to know her answer. Did he have a chance with her? He hoped so.

After dropping off Braxa's stuff Gandalf got a second keymade for the house befre going back to Braxa's parent's place.

Braxa had her lunch made and sat down to eat it. She couldn't help feeling a bit excited that she was finally going to be out from under her mother's roof. Her dad was fine, her mom was the real problem, from her point of view, well, and her little brother.
