Gandalf laughed as they arrived at the Citadel, "Name one time me 'helping' you didn't end badly. If I had the money I'd bet you can't come up with an instance."

Jed nodded toward the Librarian. "I'll see you then."
He walked off in the direction of his own TARDIS. Unlocking it, he climbed inside and set the coordinates for Skaro. The thought of going to Skaro sent shivers down his spine. He had never liked that planet, and since the creation of the Daleks, he liked it even less.

"Right, well, glad I'm out of school now, because I looked through Correon's old papers and copied your homework," Braxa said with a grin. She kept that one in mind just for such an occasion. See, it was smarter to copy work from a student from a previous year. That way you wouldn't get caught unless the teacher really wanted to take the time to prove you weren't capable of such work. She felt proud that she thought of it, but would only tell someone like Gandalf, someone she trusted exclusively.

Gandalf facepalmed, "Oh my god Brax, really? You're more than capable of getting a hundred by yourself. Then again, I'm not that surprised, you were always one for finding the utilitarian view. Kudos on tricking the professor, good to see your devious streak is still there, it'd suck if you became boring."

Braxa chuckled a little. "Yeah, I was lazy at the time and it was at the beginning of my first year with him. Later on I did my own work, but that was one of the only classes." She smiled a bit. "And no, I don't plan on being boring any time soon."

Waleffijegrutadekuj took a walk. He was specifically looking for one of his early childhood friends. As he was looking for Kyra, he reflected on the fact that at first they'd been enemies. That was before his unexpected regeneration. After that regeneration, the other children had turned on him. Kyra was one of those who hadn't. He was touched by her treatment towards him.

Kyra looked through the library and sighed when she found nothing she was interested in. She walked outside and looked around. Something was very off about today. This wasn't her normal feelings, no. This was something different, more widespread.

Waleffijegrutadekuj couldn't find Kyra anywhere, so he decided to try the library, knowing that the female liked to read. He spotted Kyra and walked up to her and asked, "How you doing?'
He wasn't entirely certain that Kyra would recognize him or even remember him, but he'd been really thinking about her lately. If she wasn't taken already....maybe he would have a chance with her. He'd always fancied her, but he knew that the twins were also close to Kyra. It wasn't likely that he actually had a chance.

Gandalf smiled, "Good, I'd have to inject the fun back into you if that happens. And yes, I can do that. So, how's your family been?"

Braxa laughed at that. "They're good. Mom's still mom, preaching about practicality. And Dad's still dad, rolling his eyes at her practicality." She laughed a little. "And little Bro is... well, like any other annoying little brother."

Kyra looked up at Walef. It had been a long while since she last saw him. "I'm good, thanks." She didn't recognize him.

Gandalf smiled, "Good to hear. I forget, has your brother graduated yet?" he asked. This 'just friends' thing was getting annoying, it was using a pretty large chunk of self-control to not kiss her at that moment.

Waleffijegrutadekuj asked, "Can I sit down?" He was nervous, and he could tell that either she didn't recognize him or she didn't care about him in the same way that he felt about her. "Seems like something is in the air....people are all up tight or something," he commented nervously.

"Yeah, he's graduated. He's just being a bum like me. Figures if I can stay with Mom and Dad, then he can," Braxa said.

Kyra shrugged. "Sure, I guess. Yeah, I've been sensing it too, it's odd."

"If you want I can try and pull some strings at my job, try to get you started at a pretty high position. It's not an insanely high wage, with all the cuts, but it's better than nothing." Gandalf said.

Braxa smiled a bit. "That would be nice. Might be a wake-up call to the bum that he should get a job too. Who knows, maybe they'll put him on his own as soon as I move out." Which came to the problem of where to stay then. If Gandalf could barely afford his place, where could she stay? She couldn't help blushing very slightly at the thought of rooming with Gandalf.
