I was thinking about perhaps instead of having multiple skins to choose from we can change our skin every month? And people could vote on the theme..
Or I could just suck it up and make another skin altogether since the problem is apparently with the way I made the skin. xD[/font]

I like the idea of having multiple skins I might change the one that visitors would see about every month, just to change it up a bit.

As I said, I can be patient and wait for it all to get fixed.

I didn't join because I get an email from the guy who made the code for the multiple header/footer thing. He said it was a problem with the skin itself. So, I'll just try to make a different style of skins.

I'm going to try and finish all of them before I give you the codes that way you don't have to go back and readd.
I should be finishing a bit more quickly since the way I'm currently making the skins are... well, faster than my other way. It doesn't look as nice but it isn't ugly.

Anyway, if you think I left out anyone you can just say, " YO SAGE. I WANT A SKIN OF __ ".

I tried to add all of the recent companions. The major ones, anyway. Not the ones that wimped out or died. Excluding Rory. Because he's my favorite wimpy hero. :]

I hope this doesn't cause any problems, but I don't know if I want the affiliates to scroll or not.....there are different styles that people have. I mean, some have some affiliates scroll and then they have other ones that don't....so....I suppose it depends on how many we get.

Oh...there was also something else I was wondering. Because of the the people who come in here and advertise without reading the site rules, I was wondering if we could make a separate skin for just the advertising page -- one that would include the advertising rules on it at the top. I've seen other sites do this.

Whether or not this is possible would depend on the header and footer stuff, right? So, I'm just asking if it would be possible to do.

I spent several days sorting through ads that were inappropriate -- and if they all saw the advertising rules, maybe that would be cut down a little. It's not something that was essential...just trying to find out if it's possible.

Sorry to do this to you....I know that I said I didn't want a c-box, but now I'm considering it. I was talking to some people on the RPG-D site, and they were saying that they found it to be a major drawback to a site to not have one.

The General has suggested it....so I guess it is wanted here, and I would be open to it.

If you are running into problems with the skins or whatever, you can go to the RPG-D site (see affiliate button) and sign in with our site's user name and password. That way we can do two things at once -- get help with the graphics and increase our post count. I think I"m up to 7 posts now. Yay....

Sage, in order for us to get our ad listed in RPG-D, we need to have links to all your testing board places. I think I found three of them that you have listed in this thread, but are there any others? And the one is in maintenance mode, so they won't accept that. Could you please make that one available so that guests can see it?

They're not going to let us get listed until we get the new skins anyway....and make sure that you put all the credits for the skin on there -- yourself and anyone or any place that you got some of the coding from. Otherwise, our ad will get deleted.
