Oracle walked down the market street looking around at the stuff to buy not really looking for anything in particular just browsing and fiddling with the necklace around her neck, the necklace consisted of two things the jewel on the necklace was a diamond that she found on another planet in “another life.” As she would call it and a locket containing the picture of Oracles recently deceased daughter Sophie.
She smirked looking around and laughed a little at what her life had become “For all purposes boring.” she said out loud to no one, and ran her hand over her face. Something out of the corner of her eye caught her attention, a Phone Box “Na...couldn’t be...could it.” she walked over to it and lightly ran her fingers over the outside of the box softly “Same feeling.”
She sighed and lifted her hand to knock on the door realizing to anyone else she probably looked like a loon knocking on an old phone box but what the hell worth a try, she knocked on the door of the box and waited for a second. “Oracle you’ve officially gone mental it’s just an old Phone box nothing else, let it go.” she turned to walk back into the crowd.

The professor was massaging his temples, wincing. He had managed to get drunk last night, and now the hangover was murder. As he heard a knock at the door of his tardis, he slowly stood up and walked over. Opening the door, he looked outside and saw a flash of ginger hair. Gaping, he tapped the person and he said “Oracle?”
The professor did not even wait, and focusing, he telepathically said to the person he tapped Oracle, if its you, its me. Its the professor. I regenerated since we last met. I’m older, and I could use a friend. Please, if you want to travel with me again, we can travel again. What he didn’t send telepathically was that he had been suicidal and crazy since she had left and he had discovered his daughter had infact died in the war.

(OOC: sorry it's short in a hurry.)
Oracle stopped dead in her tracks when she heard a voice in her head that wasn’t her own or one of the many voices that plagued her through her life. Although it wasn’t one of hers she knew the voice. She turned around and smiled at him trying to conceal how happy she was that it was him“I had a feeling I’d be running into you again.”
She lightly poked his chest in “You look so sad.” she frowned and looked hard at him and almost tackled him in a hug.

(OOC: its fine) The professor smiled a bit, but he was still having trouble acting happy. The guilt from his previous life had come into this life stronger then ever before. As she almost tackled him into a hug, he hugged back and he said “I am sad. Eighty years passed for me since we last met. And I only regenerated a couple of weeks ago.
The professor then said “Thats a nice necklace. Is that the diamond I found you while we travelled before? We can travel together again. If you want.” The professor had been stopping wars and doing that sort of thing for the last eighty years, but he knew that the guilt he had been developing would never leave.

Oracle stepped back releasing the hug and looked up at him, he looked even worse to her then he did when she left, ten years ago “Didn’t you find another companion after I left? Eighty years is a long time to be alone.”.
She looked down at her necklace and nodded “Ya it is....call me sentimental.” she tucked the necklace under her shirt and smiled when he asked her if she wanted to travel with him again “Ya...Ya I’d like that a lot” she didn’t have anything to tie her to this planet anymore just painful memories and she would be happy to put it in her rearview mirror so to speak.

The professor looked at Oracle, and guessing, he realized she was sad. Hugging her again, he said “I had some companions, but they left first chance they got. I was a bit of a drinker as well. I’d lost my family, and drinking seemed a good idea. I can’t remember twenty years. I think I managed to stay drunk for that long.” Looking down, he tried to seem happy again.
The professor took Oracles hand and he brought her into the tardis. He said “You know how they say time heals all wounds? It doesn’t. Not even regeneration healed this wound. I’ve changed Oracle. I’m more honest and less angry, but that temptation is still there.” Collapsing into a chair near the door of the tardis, he said “How are you? And just for the record, i have a degree in behavioural psychology. So, i know you are upset. What happened?”

Oracle let him hug her ”...Twenty years.” she pulled away again looking at him “I’m sorry if I had know it would have been that bad I wouldn’t of left.” she really had wanted to believe that but at the time she had, had to leave.
She followed him into his Tardis and listened to him as he spoke, and went up wandering around the Tardis console, looking at the changes if there where any deliberately trying to avoid his question “You’d be surprised how fragile offspring from two different species of aliens can be.” she hadn’t really understood when she was younger but then again she was young.

The professor watched Oracle, knowing something was wrong. He said “Oracle, I think if you’d been here it wouldn’t have been as bad, but I can’t exactly be sure. Certain things are fixed points, and that confrontation with my uncle was a fixed point in time.”
The professor then thought about her comment on offspring from two different species are more fragile. The professor came to a thought, and he walked to her. He said “Oracle, did you have a daughter, and if you did, was she a hybrid?” Looking at her, he wondered if that was why she seemed upset. He said “Oracle, eighty years nearly alone was almost maddening. You’re a good friend, and I understand that you had to go.”

(OOC: sorry if it's a little ramblely I'm sunburnt to Hades and been up since 6 XD just thought I owed you a reply She waved her had forcing the memories away, mentally detaching herself from them and rubbed her face, sighing “Ya, Ya I know.” she twitched slightly when he mentioned his uncle, thinking about her own experiences with him, and shook her head thinking “You can’t blame him for what his uncle had done.”She clicked her tongue against her teeth “Yes I had a daughter, and yes...she was a hybrid, she died three months ago.” a small smile played across her face and Sophie’s memories forced its way to her head, pulling the necklace out she popped open the locket with Sophies picture in it, a little girl that was spitting image of Oracle other then her black “Fourteen...she was so strong Professor, I was so sure, so sure she’d make it.” she looked up at him and smiled some “I know but I still feel bad about leaving you on you own.”

As she told him all this, the professor felt both sad and guilty. He had been wallowing in self pity when he should be helping his friend. He looked at the picture she showed him, and a small smile came to his face. The little girl looked like Oracle so much, apart from having black hair. He put his hand on her shoulder and he said “Some hybrids make it. Some don’t. As far as i know, time lords, if they have a child with a human, have time lord kids. No human in them I guess.”
The professor than said “Fourteen? She was fourteen.” The professor sat down on the pilot chair and said “If i had been here, then maybe i could have helped. But, dwelling on the past, been doing enough of that. Plus, been knocking about on my own. So much to do. I could have invented a new colour, saved the mammoth, joined linkin park. Though, I did invent a new form of swordstyling....Thats around the time i died. In fact, that was the day my last incarnation died. Sorry to ramble, just....Been lonely.”

She tucked the necklace under her shirt “ya I had heard that about some hybrids.” she looked at him and listened “Are there any Timelord/Human hybrids around?...I mean you lot seem to be popping up everywhere lately.”
Oracle shrugged “oh well what’s done is done, can’t be changed.” she nodded still listening and tapped her knuckles on a railing “heh wouldn’t that be like against your timelord code or something to save an endangered species?” when he mentioned sword styles she couldn’t help but smile some “still a sword fighter...How did it happen last time?” when he apologized about rambling she shook her head “No your fine.”

The professor said “I’m not sure if there are any time lord hybrids. There might be. Not sure though. Not time lord/human hybrids. Not even sure thats possible, but it might be. And it might be against the time lords laws” Looking at her, he gave her a small smile.
The professor said “Thats what people think. But certain points in time are in flux. Those can change, unlike fixed points. And yep, still a sword fighter, though I like guns. And my last incarnation die of being stabbed. Someone though i stole their idea for the sword fighting style, duelled me, i won but he stabbed me. I got to the tardis, landed on earth, and regenerated. My first death was getting stabbed as well. Second death was radiation sickness. My third death was being shot with an energy weapon, as you saw. So, yeah. Out of the 12 extra lives a time lord has, I’m in my fifth live. Only eight left.”

Softly “You timelords and your laws.” leaning back against a railing she watched him, crossing her arms “That sucks man. The other guy should have been a bigger person and accepted the loss instead of stabbing you for winning.” she shook her head “well you should probably live those other eight to the fullest eh?”

The professor said “Most of our laws would have died with the time lords. And he stabbed be me just before I won. And yep, better live this eight lifes i have left to the full potential they can live.” He began to move around the tardis and he said “So, where do you want to go? There are loads of places we could go to.” What the professor had not mentioned was that, the protective feelings of his previous life, had come into this life, causing them to grow. He felt like he was beginning to fall in love with his friend.

Oracle smiled [cololr=Red]“Oh you know me, I’m not picky.”[/color] she laughed a little bit watching him doing his little dance while he moved around the Tardis, she shook her head and walked over to the computer screen scrolling through it looking for somewhere to go “hmm what about here.” she pointed at the screen reading off the name “Eye of Orion.”
