[The Ninth Doctor]

"It was built in the year 1906. Its an older house with a nice garden outside. Its old. But its home." He smiled slightly. He limped over to the kitchen, "Are ya sure you don't want anything?" he asked opening the fridge taking out an apple which he bit into. "I'm a pretty good cook," he winked. He actually was. If he could work he would probably work as a chef.

"ok, something light tho..." Nichelle said finally caveing. she may as well have something decent to eat beside nasty protien bars and military grade food. " mind if i walk through the garden?"

"Go ahead." He smiled. He thought about what he could make. Maybe some soup. He decided to heat up some chicken noodle soup he had made from scratch a few days ago. He put the bowl into the microwave and watch it start to warm up. He sat down at the kitchen table. His legs were aching. He rubbed them gently with his fingers. He got up and took out the large bowl of soup and with a oven mit put it on the table. He got a ladle and put some soup into two bowls one for him and one for her. It had taken about five minutes for the soup to heat up properly. He got some crackers and put them on the table. He walked over to the screen door that was outside of the garden. "The food is ready Nichelle." He called out to her and went back to sit down and started to eat.

While Oliver prepared something to eat she walked along a small path and enjoyed the various flowers there, roses, blue bells, violits and most curiously she saw a small patch of Wolfs-bane. she was about ot get a closer look when she heard Oliver call and turned to go back in and smelled the chicken noodle soup and sat down to join him " wow this smells amazing"

He chuckled slightly. "Thank you, i made it from scratch a few days ago." He smiled, he liked to cook. He stirred his soup and started to eat. "What did ya think of the garden?" he asked, "I don't go out in it to much. I'm not much of a gardener, i just water the flowers when they look like they need it."

" wow...i've kind of wanted to be a cook when i was little but..due to circumstances, i took a totally diffrent carrer path....but the Garden was nice," she took a bite of the chicken and noodles and smiled as some memories of eating similar food with her parents surfaced. " but what surprised me was a patch of wolfs-bane in it...it was small..but still odd for a garden..and i saw this wonky statue somewere in the back out the corner of my eye..."

Oliver blinked in confusion. "What statue? There isn't a statue in the garden." He finished his bowl of soup and got up bringing the bowl to the sink. "Theres more soup if ya want any." He told her. He went over to the a cabinet and took a large pill bottle and took out two large pills from the bottle. He walked over to the refrigerated. And pulled out a soda and took the pills. "Want some soda or anything to drink? Sorry i should've asked already. I'm just not use to having any guests."

"it's ok, not used to being a guest..and not htank you im good. " She got up an rinsed out her own bowl and set it neatly in the sink. " so....its not yours? thats a little creepy..."

"I'm going to go take a look," he said to her. He limped over to the door and walked outside. He walked down the isles of plants and the small fountain that was at the center of all the flowers. "I don't see anything," he called back to the house. "Nichelle come and show me where ya saw it."

Nichelle came out side and pointed to some trees lightly lineing the garden " over there, it was there...how can a statue be some place one minute then gone the next? "

"Maybe your just tired or something and was just seeing things. Because i don't have any statues. Unless someone thinks of this as some really weird joke." He shrugged slightly. "Lets head back inside, its kinda cold out here." And he also didn't say that the drizzle of rain was making his legs throb with pain.

"maybe..." she followed him back into the house as it began to rain alittle bit and glanded out at thw woodsm unaware that something watched her as well as her kind host.

Oliver walked back inside holding the door open for Nichelle. When they got back inside he locked the door behind them just encase. He heard something strange, like an odd fluttering noise. He looked around confused, thinking he must be hearing things.

Nichelle gave a slight yawn and streched a little. "today ceirtanly was interesting...mind if i head to bed first?"

"I wouldn't mind at all, go ahead," he nodded. "Do ya remember where your room is?" he asked. He started to put plastic on the bowl of soup and put it back into the refrigerator. He decided if she was going to sleep he might as well also.
