It might have been true what this red head told him, and it might be true that these two weren't dangerous. But Jack gave that child away, he gave a child raised by a father and a mother away to aliens. Just because he couldn't do anything else.
And he had been the one to tell the mother he had given her child away. She had been one of the many broken hearts he had seen.
The voice of Owen was welcome in his mind, and now that he knew there was someone else in the hub he'd dare to take the risk of letting them in.
"Very well" he faked a smile before stepping onto the stone. "Come in" Jack didn't need to nod or shake his head. He would show Owen what they were dealing with. And he'd show these strangers what they were dealing with.
Jack wouldn't start loving these fearies just because one of them wasn't a monster.

Ianto was in the tourist section as he saw Jack enter on the stone. He was watching all this time. Owen was aware Ianto was at the tourist section. He was going to keep an eye on them. Give them space.
Like Owen Ianto sent a message to Jack. “Eyes are on you,” Ianto said in his ear peace. “That jacket needs cleaning.”

"Very well" he faked a smile before stepping onto the stone. "Come in"
"Well," said the Meddler, joining him on the stone, "since you've been kind enough to invite us across your threshold, how can we refuse?"
He threw a companionable arm across Jack's shoulders, the silver Klein bottle head of his cane near the man's right ear, and beckoned to Sisi with his left hand. "Come along, my dear. It's a bit close on this stone, but I doubt very much that you're going to mind."

The energies around her died down suddenly, the glow vanishing out of her eyes as she sucked in a deep breath. She blinked for a moment, rolled her shoulders and gave the immortal a smile. She suddenly looked very mortal again.
"Very well, come in"
Oh but Jack, that smile did not reach your eyes just now, she though. Yet, she gracefully took her godfather's hand and stepped on the stone with them. Indeed quite close to the tall immortal man, but the look on her face showed she did seem to mind in the least.
"Well if this isn't cosy, perhaps you should consider broadening the.. platform."
Though she did not mind at all, closing her eyes as she took up his scent being so close to him, his smell was divinely unique. She understood the whispers now, very well.

Jack couldn't quite mind the closeness of others. His view on 'personal space' was already very different from other humans. Most likely because he came from a different period of time. Where social etiquette were different from now.
He couldn't quite help but to feel the mood lighten up slightly at the voice of Ianto. Simply calming him down by commenting about his coat.
"Well if this isn't cosy, perhaps you should consider broadening the.. platform." The lady spoke again. Catching his attention before he gave her a quick smile. "No need for that, we're not planning on having more than two guests at a time"
Torchwood wasn't a place for tours, and they wouldn't have so many guests at once.
The stone lift reached the floor and Jack casually took his place on the floor. Hands still hidden in the pockets of his coat as he glanced back at the two. "This way please" This time his smile was honest....honest yet cheeky.

Owen was grabbing his gun before the sex lady and the man was coming down the invisible lift. He wanted the two know that Jack was not all alone. Going around, Owen quickly stashed his gun behind him in his waist band. It was better to be prepared. You learn to think like that when you hear Jack say this is the 21 century and you have to be prepared for anything. It was creepy when one hears that, especially when there is a time lord name the Doctor.
Owen will have to admit that the invisible lift was small for its size. It’s good and bad, it makes you practice your hygiene. You don’t want the bloke next to you think you don’t take showers. That means you need to be careful on farts. It sure stinks there too. If anyone trying to hide something they will fidget. You can’t hide that well in close quarters like a filled elevator. It’s nice to be close to a female and from the looks that’s exactly what this female was about to do to Jack.
Owen said nothing it was let Jack do the talking and observe the newbies. The others will make there way. Owen wearing faded blue jeans and grim reaper black shirt.

The Meddler simply miled as his Niece bantered with the Fixed Spacetime Point (Jack, he reminded himself, The fixed point has a name, after all.) He was perfectly aware that most Time Lords would be repelled by Jack's very nature - but, when you're a walking temporal abomination, you tend to overlook it in others.
The stone lift reached the floor and Jack casually took his place on the floor. Hands still hidden in the pockets of his coat as he glanced back at the two. "This way please" This time his smile was honest....honest yet cheeky.
He peered around. "Quaint."

The moment the elevator reached beneath the top level she took a good look around, amazed by how they managed to hide a building at this enormous scale from the public view. It was quite brilliant really. She looked at some of the larger equipment around and smiled as she realised some were not human made. Quite fascinating.
Almost as fascinating as the immortal man himself was.
She felt like she was in a cathedral as they reached the ground level, Jack stepping off the platform immediately. She herself linger to the Meddlers side.
He peered around. "Quaint."
"Quite." She quipped, and moved to follow this Jack Harkness to where ever he was leading them.
The stares of one of his she guessed was his work mates did not go unnoticed, she gave him a quick smile and a wink before she followed Jack's path. Strange man, that was. She liked strange.

Jack moved around the Hub as if he owned the place...and in a way he did. He didn't treat his team like that though. "Owen,Ianto! be happy to join our guests and me in my office" He smiled as he invited them up to his office.
Already halfway up the staircase before he actually wondered where the rest of his team was hiding. Well, he'd figure that out eventually.
Assuming everyone followed him Jack walked into his office. A black table in the middle of the room, plants and stacks of paper littered across his desk and cabinets. "Have a seat" he motioned them to the chairs before leaning back against his desk. Not really wanting to sit down at the moment.

Following everyone, Ianto stepped in Jack’s office. He was quiet and observant of course. He was the closest to the door. It was accessible for the handsome man to leave to get coffee and tea if Jack gives him the look to do so. The coffee man was able to read Jack well, well almost like a book. However there was much to Jack that Ianto does not know. Ianto was glad that the they had video camera on 24/7 in Torchwood for security purposes.

The red haired woman sauntered behind the immortal man, her green eyes drawn to the man behind her every now and then, the Meddler. Their looks that exchanged said more then words, a slow smile creeping onto her lips. She chuckled softly and followed this Jack Harkness into his office.
The smell of passion still lingered on the air there. Her eyes gave a slight glow as she took in a deep breath, taking in the full scent. Some of these people were more then just colleagues. Being part Sidhe, her people relished these sensations, passion was sacred.
She had taken a seat in one of the chairs before the immortal had even offered it, relaxing as she sat back. Her eyes flitted to the man by the door, then to the immortal and back to the coffee boy again. She took in the scent surrounding the room again.
Ah.
"What you did for that little girl still bothers you, am I right?" She said slowly.
The silence in the room was deafening.

Owen was surprised the dead silence in the room as he walked by Ianto Jones in the office. The red hair was sexy and the other man was someone. Owen was there in presence. He did not want to miss this meeting and plus the red head. You don’t get many red heads in the HUB.

As the Meddler picked out a seat, he noticed his Niece sniffing the air. Curious, he did the same. Yes, there was something familiar there...
"What you did for that little girl still bothers you, am I right?" She said slowly.
The silence in the room was deafening.
"It probably does, yes. Whatever it was." He looked with interest at the two men in the room, and at the new arrival. "And you've got a fixed point in time and a walking dead man - incidentally, I think I can do something about that for you, if you've a mind to - on staff." He sniffed again, and looked at each of the men in turn. "But, of far more importance, I smell coffee. Kenyan, I think."
He sniffed again, and smiled. "Before we get into all of this, could I get a pint? Black. With four salts and an ounce of Tabasco?"

Jack casually leaned back on his desk, hands stuffed in the pockets of his pants as he crossed them. Blue eyes fixed on the two 'guests' as they followed into his office. A quick glance to his team before his face hardened again.
The mentioning of the little girl bringing back bad memories. "It bothers me that I had to explain a mother why I gave her child away"
If it had been better for the child then Jack was fine, but still, they had left that mother behind. Everything had been ripped from her life in one day.

What you did for that little girl still bothers you, am I right? the red haired lady asked Jack. Ianto was watching Jack in the silent moment.
"It bothers me that I had to explain a mother why I gave her child away Jack said. Wishing, Ianto wanted to comfort the Captain in his arms. Ianto hated to see Jack relive a pain experience. Ianto shifted his weight.
It probably does, yes. Whatever it was.The Meddler looked with interest at Ianto and Owen entered in the room. And you've got a fixed point in time and a walking dead man - incidentally, I think I can do something about that for you, if you've a mind to - on staff
Owen was not sure what the Meddler meant a fixed point in time. It had to be a walking dead. However, the Meddler can do something. That peaked Owen’s curiosity, his dark brown eyes looked at Jack. It was Jack had made him a zombie. The Meddler sniffed the air and Ianto took note of the man’s reaction as he sniffed the air.
But, of far more importance, I smellcoffee. Kenyan, I think. The Meddler said.
Indeed, Ianto replied to the Meddler. ‘Kenyan’ what or who was Kenyan. The
Meddler smiles Before we get into all of this, could I get a pint? Black. With four salts and an ounce of Tabasco? Ianto gave a small, kind warm smile to the Meddler. The coffee man looked at the Jack.
The candy eyed man looked at the red head, And…? he asked and he could see why Jack would flirt with her. She was attractive, young, gorgeous eyes and she was a distraction for the eye. Making a small cough, Ianto forced himself not be distracted.
