A Nice Cup of Tea (Flynn)

[The Phantom]

She didn't exactly know why she agreed to his offer. Maybe it was cause he saved her from an unwanted regeneration, or maybe because of her relentless curiousity. Regardless of what convinced her to go with him, she did.

Flynn had asked her if she wanted to join him for a cup of tea. To which Maria had agreed to in hopes to possibly get to know him better. A good chance for her to make new friends.

She followed him into his Tardis, impressed with the design. "I like your console's design. It's nice, clever." Maria tried to make some small talk, not sure how this was going to go.

[Flynn Delta]

The walls of Flynn's TARDIS were layered with assorted weapons that ranged from a simple club to the most intricate blaster in the universe. He took great pride in his weapon collection.
“Thank you, I modeled it after what humans call Steam-Punk, I spent months modifying the desk top so all the clocks’ time actually changes when we do considering I have lost track on the number clocks My TARDIS it was no easy Task, I’m still certain I’ve missed some. Anyway I promised you tea so let’s hunt some down, literally I tried to make robot that could bring me tea on command and he kind of… escaped before I could fully train him to come when I called. I’ve narrowed him down to either the Library or the Other Library, I suppose we could just make the tea ourselves but… actually that sounds kind of fun but then so does the tracking thing, tell you what since you’re my guest I’ll let you choose which option we shall choose, so what’ll it be?”

[The Phantom]

"It'd be fun to make the tea oursel- is that an antimatter ray gun?" Maria asked, shocked to see one of those. "I thought only three of those existed."

"Anyway, we could try and make the tea ourselves, then afterwards we could look for the robot. If that works." Maria smiled at him, as she moved some of her bright blond hair out of her eyes.

[Flynn Delta]

"It'd be fun to make the tea oursel- is that an antimatter ray gun?" Maria asked, shocked to see one of those. "I thought only three of those existed."


"Why, yes, would you like one? I've already copied the schematics so I could make you one, if you like."

"Anyway, we could try and make the tea ourselves, then afterwards we could look for the robot. If that works."

"Sounds fun, I'd like that Phantom,or may I call you Marie?
Now then the kitchen is this way."

He turns and motions her to follow him down a long corridor, past numerous doors, one contains a large swimming pool.

"If you want we could go for a swim later, I have scuba gear some wear around here, anyways let's focus on finding that kitchen, Hmm?"

[The Phantom]

"I prefer Maria thanks." Maria replied as she followed him down the long corridor, and rooms, and the large swimming pool.

"Sounds good." There were several things she wanted to ask him, but figured to leave that for after they got the tea ready.

"I Believe this is the kitchen" Flynn says pushing a nearby door open, revealing a medium-sized kitchen
"Ah, here we are now then let's choose our tea."
He walks over to a cupboard and pulls out a basket of tea, and promptly hands it to Maria.
"Since you're my guest I'll let you choose which kind of Tea we have."

"I believe this is the kitchen." Flynn said as he pushed a door open, revealing a decent sized kitchen. She followed him in, then sat down by the counter.

"Ah, here we are now then let's choose our tea."

She watched as he walked to a cupboard and pull out a basket with several different types of tea.

"Since your my guest I'll let you choose which kind of Tea we have." Flynn said as he handed her the basket.

"Thank you." Maria smiled at him before looking through the assortment of Tea. Picking out one labeled Vanilla Caramel, and handed it to him. "How about this one, I think it's good with a bit of milk too."

She set the Tea Basket on the counter as her Sea-Green eyes watched him with much curiosity.

[Flynn Delta]

"Sounds good, maybe a dash of sugar as well?" large smile forms on his face as
he walks over to another cabinet and gets a decorated metal tea kettle and places it under the tap and fills it with hot water then places it on the counter. he walks over to a drawer and opens it then pulls out a device that resembles a Laser Screwdriver and dips the tip into the water in the pot; no sooner does he activate the device, than steam races out of the pot. his eyes widen and he flings the device across the room, the devices slams into the metal wall making a large clang, he grips his hand, which has turned a bright red due to the heat, in pain.
"Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! OW!" He fumbles over to the sink and runs his hand under cold water his hand slowly returns to normal. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that's better...... Laser Heater gotta be careful using those things."
He says laughing, still holding his hand.

"Sounds good, maybe a dash of sugar as well?" He asked, a large smile on his face.

"Sure." Maria agreed as she watched him as he proceeded to burn himself.

"OW! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow! OW!" He fumbles over to the sink and runs his hand under cold water his hand slowly returns to normal. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that's better...... Laser Heater gotta be careful using those things." He says laughing, still holding his hand.

"You alright?" She asked, concerned about his hand. "That looked very painful."

[Flynn Delta]

"I'm fine, just little steam that's all, nothing a few layers of bandages won't fix. Now then let's get the tea ready shall we?" He reaches over and takes on of the tea bags and places it into the kettle, then sits down at a nearby table.
"all we have to do is wait for the tea get it's flavor."

"Right, so that should take about three to five minutes, at most." Maria nodded as she stared at him curiously. "So, Flynn. What do you like to do?"

[Flynn Delta]

"Well, I mostly wander through out time and space, you know like most Time-Lords do now I help out here and there, what about yourself?" He asks "Would you like to sit down?"

She sat down across from him, not quite sure what to say next.

"So, would you like a copy of the schematics for the Antimatter ray gun? I've got two copies, so it would be no trouble at all."
He says with a smile.
