It was dark, almost pitch black dark, if not for some different dim colored circular buttons. A lone red bulb was blinking throughout the dark, located in the center of the Tardis console.
The Phantom coughed as her console sparked violently, causing smoke to fill up in the control room. She slowly stood up, her legs shaking uncontrollably as part of the result of what had happened only a few minutes ago. Grasping onto the side of the console, she tried to steady herself.
It had been a rather rough landing, a bit too rough for her liking. This was the second time she had crashed, and as for the first time... The first time she crashed had caused her first regeneration.
Knowing that once she was out of her Tardis, the ship would start to repair itself, she walked clumsily toward the doors. Not quite sure where she had crashed, and not exactly knowing what to expect. The Phantom took a deep breathe and made her way outside. She wished she didn't take that breathe, because it had caused another coughing fit to occur. She quickly closed and locked the door behind her.
The Phantom now outside took a look about her surroundings. It was night, England, possibly 20-21st century, and she had shown up in Cardiff.
"Lovely, now what?" She asked herself quietly, looking a bit lost. Finally deciding that it'd be better to take a look around, she started walking aimlessly about. Not really knowing what to expect, or who she would see.

Golden eyes scanned the park. Boring reall, nothing ever happened. He might not have been dressed in the proper attire- a fedora over blonde hair, covering a shady looking face but not going below his ears, an old style grey jacket over a black shirt and jeans - for the park, but this was what he always wore. Nothing was going on, until-
Boom!
Crashed Tardis. That happened to interest Alec a lot. "Hello, might I scam you into buying something you don't really need for the problem that is likely fixing itself? Because when it comes to- Phantom!" his hand thrust into hers, shaking it vigorously just as she stepped out and locked her Tardis. "Ah, haven't scammed- I mean seen you in so long! How was your crash?"

It didn't take long but sure enough, someone had noticed her Tardis crashing. And it was just her luck that it was someone who happened to know what happened.
A blond hair, golden eyed man dressed in a old style Grey jacket over a black shirt, jeans, and a Fedora on his head. To be honest, he didn't look half bad as he walked over to her.
"Hello, might I scam you into buying something you don't really need for the problem that is likely fixing itself? Because when it comes to- Phantom!"
Also to top it off he knew who she was, and was proceeding to continuously shaking her hand. He seemed a bit excitable as he spoke, and she noticed how he was beginning to try to scam her in some way.
Before she could ask who he was, he continued.
"Ah, haven't scammed- I mean seen you in so long! How was your crash?"
"Better then the first time I crashed..." The Phantom stared into his golden eyes trying to figure out who he was. "Sorry, but who ar-... Hold on. Were you just trying to scam me into buying something completely and utterly useless?"
Her face held a look of shock and amusement. She had no idea what was going on, however, whatever it was, this was quite amusing.

"Better then the first time I crashed..." she trailed off.
"I suppose so. Didn't you tell me you had to regenerate last time you crashed? Oh, by the way, do you have your laser screwdriver on you? If so, was it damaged in the crash?" he asked.
"Sorry, but who ar-... Hold on. Were you just trying to scam me into buying something completely and utterly useless?"
Alec tilted his head. "Maybe...yes...no. It was a joke. Don't tell me- oh, alright. I'm Alec Harrison." he told her.

"Alec... Oh! Right, hello." The Phantom smiled at him, happy to see a friend. "How are you doing?"
"Yes I have my laser screwdriver, though as to if it's damaged or not. I'll probably have to check." She put her hand into her jean pocket searching for the screwdriver. "Only problem about trans-dimensional clothing is that it takes forever to find what you actually need... Here it is."
The Phantom pulled out a blue and sliver laser screwdriver, looking it over. She grinned when it didn't appear broken, however she would have to try it out to be completely sure.
"Anyway, what brings you here?" She asked curiously.

It’d been four months since she’d given her Vortex Manipulator to Malcolm Asutian. They’d gotten along well enough, but Susan was still too manipulative and cold-hearted to form a real, deep friendship just yet. And she was tired of the burns and claw marks on her arms, so getting rid of the damnable thing had been the next best option. Without the possibility of time travel, her life had gotten… calm. She was still a bitter old woman inwardly, but she didn’t use her manipulation to make people jump off tall buildings anymore. The most she used her telepathy for was to figure out if she could flirt with the grocer enough to get a discount.
Her arm was healing – as she knew it would, given her Time Lord background. Her entire arm was still bandaged, but she knew that the skin wasn’t falling off anymore. That was a good thing. It was rather unsettling to see bits of your flesh lying despondently on the ground.
To anybody on the outside looking in, it would seem that Susan Foreman was coming out of a slump. To her, however, she was sinking further in. She felt as though something were terribly, terribly off, but she wasn’t able to trace it. She couldn’t shrug off the feeling of intensified loneliness anymore. She was tired of everything seeming as though it came covered in a gray veil.
She was sitting along the edge of the bay, staring into the moon’s watery reflection. She could hear the telltale signs of a crashing TARDIS – the desperate whir of time. She covered her ears and put her forehead against her knees, humming loudly to herself as she heard the booming sound of the actual crash. She stopped humming, dropping her hands back to her side.
Susan stood up, crossing quickly over to the scene- a park. A young, short woman walked out of the TARDIS, appearing a bit dazed. And then Alec – her dear Alec – walked over to the woman. Her jaw clenched, feeling yet another unpleasant emotion wash over her. It was slightly refreshing from the apathetic, bored state that was nearly constant for her now.
She walked closer. “Hello,” she said calmly, staring at the Phantom.

"Hello," a dark haired woman greeted them, her eyes locked on the Phantom.
"Hello." The Phantom eyed the woman curiously, moving slightly closer to Alec. She started to be just a bit more catious with new people, since her meeting with the Mentalist. "Who are you?"
(ooc: ok so my post is.. all blah at the moment. Sorry)

"Yes I have my laser screwdriver, though as to if it's damaged or not. I'll probably have to check." Phantom put her hand into her jean pocket searching for something, presumably the screwdriver. "Only problem about trans-dimensional clothing is that it takes forever to find what you actually need... Here it is."
Alec smiled. "Ah, tell me about it." he said, flipping off his hat. He shook it, and chuckled as an apple fell out. "I have a complete library in here. It was a present from myself for my four-hundredth birthday. Was I ever that young?" he sighed happily.
"Anyway, what brings you here." I flew south for the winter. "Well actually-" he was cut off by a voice he would never forget- he hadn't so far.
"Hello,"
"Oh blimey, Susan, we finally meet under circumstances that aren't violent." he turned, neither smiling nor frowning.

“Hello,” the woman said cautiously. Susan advanced a step, still staring down at the woman. She wasn’t a very tall Time Lady herself, but she had the advantage of her high heels. “Who are you?” she asked, moving closer to Alec. Susan’s bandaged fingers twitched, clenching into a fist before quickly unclenching. This ‘Phantom’ sounded nervous. Good. That’d teach her to… wait. Why was she angry? Oh well, no time to analyse herself.
“Susan Foreman,” she said. She stood straighter, placing her hands behind her back. “No need to be frightened of me, little mouse. I’m really a nice person.” Well. Except for the fact that she used to convince people to die, was a general manipulative b**ch to everyone she knew, and felt very tempted to throttle this little mouse.
Alec was acting entirely too friendly to this... other woman. This Phantom. He’d been chuckling and smiling and being happy whilst talking to the Phantom, but that had all changed once she’d come. What did this little woman have that she didn’t?
“Oh blimey, Susan, we finally meet under circumstances that aren’t violent.”
Well, he didn’t sound exactly enthused to see her. Pale blue eyes moved to him, shoulders slumping slightly. Her fingers twitched, this time feeling the urge to claw the healing burns on her arm. She put her hands in her pocket. “We do,” she agreed.
She looked back to the Phantom, and the sweet smile replaced the genuine one she’d been giving Alec. “Having a little trouble flying your TARDIS?” she asked, voice laced with fake sugar.

"Susan Foreman," The lady introduced herself, standing up straight and placing her hands behind her back, out of Maria's view. "No need to be frightened of me, little mouse,"
Oh joy, she had gained yet again another nickname. Only this one seemed to indicate not only her height, but also the way she acted towards this newcomer.
"I'm really a nice person." Susan finished.
The Phantom's dark sea-green eyes narrowed ever so slightly, behind her dirty blond bangs at Susan. There was something, just a flicker of something, in the dark haired woman's eyes, that Maria wasn't sure about.
"Oh blimey, Susan, we finally meet under circumstances that aren't violent." Alec said, the look on his face was nutral
Even though it appeared Alec and Susan knew eachother, the Phantom didn't know how long or even how well they knew eachother. However, that didn't make her and Susan automatic friends. Maria didn't know anything about this person, nothing at all, she hadn't even heard of her before.
"We do," Susan agreed.
That was curious to the Phantom. She wondered how many violent meetings they had, and about the subject of said violence.
Maria looked up, after realizing her mind was starting to drift, to see Susan's icy blue eyes staring into hers. She held her gaze against the other Timelady, not sure what she did to become so noticed.
The smile on Susan's face may have appeared to be sweet, and one for attempting to make friends. However, to Maria it looked like one a cat might have when trying to sweet talk a mouse before the kill.
"Having a little trouble flying your Tardis?" she asked, her tone, ever so sweet with a hidden note of what may have been malice. Or maybe a smug-like additude over the Phantom's driving abilities. Which ever one it was, the Phantom wasn't sure.
"No. Not at all. I just wanted to crash into the ground and risk regenerating again." Maria answered quietly with heavy sarcasm. She sighed before going on in a lighter more friendly tone. "Sorry, It's just a bit hard flying a Tardis that I have been trying to fix for the last several years."
Maria gave Susan a friendly smile, as she stepped closer to her, offering her hand to shake. "I'm the Phantom, it's nice to meet you, Ms. Foreman. Or would you prefer Susan?"

Alec crossed his arms, listening to Maria and Susan converse nervously. Though no hatred was shown, the Timelord knew each had their own... Hidden talents. He mumbled hopelessly when he finally noticed Susan's arm. "I could Sonic that..." he muttered between the two talking.
Things weren't going bad, not at all, but on the flip side they weren't going great either. This combined with his awkwardness around Susan probably made his lip feel very bitten. He mumbled hardly audible something about a bad lemonade and frowned.

Nikki's pendant began to glow. It must have fully charged, she thought. The bright light from the pendent engulfed her and she opened her eyes to where she had ended up. The minute she saw bushes, she jumped behind them. She couldn't let herself be seen until she figured out where she was. In the bushes, she looked and listened. She could hear people talking in English, though they had English accents, different than her own American accent. I must be in England. She looked down and realized her pendant was still brightly glowing. It shouldn't be still doing that, she thought, Unless.... She looked around. There were three people standing a ways from her. One was a tall woman with short black hair, piercing blue eyes, and somewhat pale skin. Looking at her gave Nikki the shivers. There was also a short girl with blond hair and green eyes. She seemed a little more friendly, but somehow seemed otherworldly. The third person was a man with blond hair and eyes that seemed almost like gold. He had a face that gave off someone who may not be so trustworthy. Behind them an object smoked. That must be a TARDIS, she thought, That must be why my pendant hasn't stopped glowing. One of them could be the Doctor! But Nikki was worried. None of the people seemed very trustworthy, but if one of them truly was the Doctor, then she would miss her chance to give him the pendant to destroy. She stepped out of the bushes and said warily, "Um, is one of you, by chance, called the Doctor?"

This woman didn’t seem to trust her completely. The green eyes observed her cynically. Susan quirked an eyebrow, her smile fading as she realized that this little mouse was of no consequence to her. Although she was curious as to why Alec seemed so much happier in the presence of only the Phantom. Was it because she was… nice? Susan observed the woman again, walking around the little mouse once more.
Was it because she was a blonde?
She looked down at her feet, shoulders slumping slightly. Why did she care about whom Alec was friends with? Why would she even worry about trivial things like that? The Phantom was clearly harmless. This Time Lady was not going to harm Alec. Still, there was something coiling in her that hated this girl. This stupid little mouse.
“No, not at all,” the woman said in response to Susan’s question. The taller woman tilted her head, looking back up at her with cold eyes. “I just wanted to crash into the ground and risk regenerating again,” this idiotic little mouse said. Susan rose to her full height, taking another step towards Maria.
“Oh?” she asked simply, voice hinting at impending manipulation.
However, before she got a chance to continue, the woman cut her off. “Sorry. It’s just a bit hard flying a Tardis that I have been trying to fix for the last several years,” the Phantom said. Susan stepped back, her eyes not quite as dark as before.
“I see.”
But as she stepped back away from the Phantom, the girl seemed to step forwards with her. Susan’s bandaged fingers twitched in annoyance. “Either will do,” she said, staring at the offered hand. “You don’t want me to touch you right now,” she said simply.
“I could Sonic that.”
She looked down at her arm, and smiled at him warmly. She held out a hand to touch him, but hesitated, remembering that her telepathy could invade someone if they weren’t aware of what she could do. “Don’t do that. It will be fine,” she said, her words slightly cold. She bit her lip and pinched her good arm. “Thank you, Alec. I appreciate it.”
Susan was trying desperately to be nice. This Phantom seemed to be… a friend to Alec. She took a deep breath, trying to push the unfounded hatred out of her chest. “I won’t pick a fight with the little mouse,” she told Alec. She offered a smile to the girl.
See? She was being such a kind friend. So why did Alec still seem so wary and awkward around her?
It disheartened her.
Her eyes snapped to the bushes as someone walked out from them. “Um, is one of you, by chance, called the Doctor?”
And all the friendliness that Susan had managed to muster dropped instantly. She turned to the newcomer, upper lip curled, fists clenched. “No,” she said, struggling back to her calm demeanour. Eventually the snarl faded, her hands were limp at her side, and her eyes were emotionless. “The Doctor is not here.”

"Either will do," Susan said as she backed away from the Phantom. "You don't want me to touch you right now."
"Alright then." The Phantom nodded, respecting Susan's personal space for the moment.
"I could Sonic that." Alec offered.
The Phantom noticed how Susan hesitated when she declined the offer. Thank you, Alec. I appreciate it."
"I won't pick a fight with the little mouse," She told Alec, as she smiled to the Phantom.
"You can call me Maria if you'd like." Maria smiled back at Susan, hoping she would catch the hint. "I prefer that."
"Um, is one of you, by chance, called the Doctor?" A girl asked as she stepped out of the bushes.
"No," Susan answered first, her tone a bit cold as she struggled with her emotions. "The Doctor is not here."
"I'm sorry," Maria apologised to the newcomer. "The Doctor is a difficult man to find sometimes. Do you mind if I ask why your looking for him?"

"No, the Doctor is not here," the black haired woman said with a clenched fist that slowly relaxed. Nikki realized then that she had made a stupid and careless error. Instead of asking about the Doctor she should have listened to their conversation longer to see if one of them was in fact the doctor. Nikki began to feel a tightness in her chest and took a step back.
The girl with blond hair replied, "I'm sorry, the Doctor is a difficult man to find sometimes. Do you mind if I ask why your looking for him?" Nikki stared and touched her pendant. Should she tell them the truth about it? After all one of them at least should be a Time Lord since there was a TARDIS. Though her mother had said that the Doctor was the last of the Time Lords, but maybe she was wrong. Though she couldn't just go and trust these people. Who knows who they were.
Nikki decided to lie about the pendant. "It has to do with this pendant," she said, "My mother said that it may be Time Lord technology, so therefore can be successfully destroyed by a Time Lord." If one of them was indeed a Time Lord she needed a convincing story to make them want to destroy it. She remembered The Lord of the Rings and the story behind it. "The pendant can be used to become invisible. Thats how I got into that bush with out you noticing. The awful thing about it, is that it will corrupt the person who uses it. Thats why mother sent me to find the Doctor. She thought he was the only Time Lord left in existence, thus the only one who could possibly destroy it. Though from that TARDIS behind you, I guess she was mistaken." Nikki took a deep breath. She hoped no one saw through her lie and tried to ignore the fact that her pendant was still glowing brightly.
