Rex put his hands on his hips, towering over Phantom. "I didn't steal anything." he claimed, dropping the fake english accent.
He offered a handshake to them both and pullled his wallet out of his pocket. "Former CIA Rex Matheson, Member of... A thinktank stationed in Cardiff, Wales."
"And you?"

"Rather quick to drop the accent. Where are you from, America?" The Phantom asked, standing her ground as he towered over her. As if she needed another reason to be reminded why she hated being short.
He offered a handshake as he introduced himself, showing his identification. "Former CIA Rex Matheson, Member of... A thinktank stationed in Cardiff, Wales."
"And you?" He asked
"Frequent traveler, Maria Johnson." The Phantom used her alias as she shook his hand. "I left my I.D. at home. Anyway, just cause I'm curious.. What's a thinktank, Mr. Matheson?"

Amy was alone in the TARDIS, trembling in the wake of having witnessed her Doctor float off into oblivion. She hadn't been able to reach him fast enough... And now, he was gone. And, the TARDIS was still on its side. The front doors were still wide open and pointing downward, and the Doctor was gone.
"No..." she whispered. "Come back... Ye always come back..." Tears began to well up in Amy's hazel-green eyes, but she tried her best to choke them back and be brave.
She would just have to wait. Amy was, after all, the girl who waited - so, she would wait.
It seemed the thing to do.
Amy was then finally able to spring into action, having made her decision to wait. She carefully reached out and pulled closed the TARDIS doors and then spoke aloud, as if the TARDIS could hear and understand her - or, maybe she was just praying to Santa Claus again.
"Please, please, please... Let him be okay... An' make sure we get wherever we're goin' in one piece."

When Rex towered over Maria, Riocard made it a point to step a bit closer to Rex, fists clenched. He wouldn’t hit the man unless he tried to hurt Maria, but it wasn’t as though Rex knew that the Frenchman had made it his personal mission to cast away his former years of violence. “I didn’t steal anything,” the man said, sounding very… unEnglish. Riocard stepped back, slightly unsure about the new accent. He had never gotten the chance to go over the United States – or anywhere on the continent – so the man’s voice sounded… intriguing.
“Rather quick to drop the accent. Where are you from, America?” she asked. Riocard remained silently, deciding instead to just shake the man’s hand again, examining the wallet critically. His thief instinct was attempting to take over, glancing down to which pocket the man had pulled the wallet out. He pulled his hand away; attempting to forget it, hoping Rex switched the pockets so his sticky fingers didn’t get any idea.
“Former CIA Rex Matheson, Member of… A think-tank stationed in Cardiff, Wales,” the man said. Riocard stepped even further back, cheeks colouring brightly. Even with the former in front of it, the Frenchman had a distrust of government officials. He twiddled his thumbs, unsure whether or not his name was familiar to the United States for his… zealous rebel work. It had certainly been known in Russia, where they had murdered his father and tried to kill him.
He put an arm around himself, covering his stomach nervously.
He’d just let Maria take the conversation now. She seemed a tad bit more comfortable.

When the TARDIS finally came to a halt, Amy stood at the controls and stared off into space, silently wondering what had just happened...
The Doctor had fallen out of the TARDIS while it was in-transit, falling into the time vortex. There was no telling where or when he would wind up. Amy just hoped that she would be incredibly lucky, and that he would wind up here - after all, the TARDIS had a tendency of appearing wherever it needed to be.
After a few moments, Amy shook herself and steeled her resolve. She couldn't stay inside the TARDIS forever - she might as well go outside and take a look around... see where and when the TARDIS had brought her.
Stepping outside, Amy saw that she was on Earth - in London, specifically - though, she wasn't quite sure of the year. Closing and locking the TARDIS behind her with the key that The Doctor had given her, Amy took a closer look around...
And, some distance off, Amy saw two people examining a Dalek.
Her eyes flew wide open, and she gasped with shock. And then, before her eyes, its body opened up to reveal a man inside. Amy was too far away to hear the conversation, so she had no idea what was going on, or who those people were... So, she approached and heard the young lady accuse the man of stealing the Dalek technology.
"Um... 'Scuse me... But, wot is that?" Amy asked, not letting on that she already knew of the Daleks. "An', why were ye inside'a it? It looks dangerous... I wouldn't touch it."

The awkward level was rising more and more. The Frenchman rolled his shoulders anxiously. However, something quickly caught his attention. Well, someone. He looked at the woman walking closer to them, narrowing his eyes to see her better. Ah, yes. He knew her. There was, however, something wrong with her. Instead of her usual cocky, self-assured smile, there was something... off. If he didn't know better, he'd think she was frightened. His nerves immediately calmed, and he began to draw on his social skills to try to subtly make her better.
“Um... 'scuse me.... but, wot is that?” Amy asked, looking pointedly at the Dalek. “An', why were ye inside'a it? It looks dangerous... I wouldn't touch it,” she said. Rio laughed and waved off her worry.
“Don't worry about it, A--” he paused and looked at the Phantom. If they were time travellers, it was possible that the adventure with Amy and the Doctor hadn't happened yet for this woman. “--ngel. Angel.” Yeah. Angel.
Smooth recovery, he thought to himself, feeling rather smug.

Amy could have sworn that the man had been about to call her by name, but then he stopped and called her 'Angel', instead - just like some sweet old lady calling someone 'Poppet', or 'Sweetie'. It was a little weird, but Amy shook it off because there couldn't have been anything more 'weird' than seeing a man in that Dalek suit.
"Sorry...? I don't know how I can't worry about it, whoever ye are. Tha things that normally live in those 'suits' are very evil an' very dangerous. Wherever did ye find it?"

(1 year after Touched By an Angel)
Suddenly, a swirling pool of energy opened up next to Amy, and a figure stepped through, coughing.
"Am I..ahg, this is why I hate Vortex Manipulators." The figure couged again and straightened up again.
"Ah. Amy. I hope i haven't been away for long. There were Weeping Angels, and a TARDIS, and a dear old friend. Friends, actually. But I'm back."
Eleven grinned and fiddled with his Vortex Manipulator, switching of the hole in the vortex. He held his sonic screwdriver in one hand and in the other a crumpled up sheet of paper.
"Hello."

While Amy was waiting for an explanation about the Dalek suit, the air near her went all wibbly-wobbly, and then The Doctor appeared. Amy stared at him in disbelief, her jaw going a bit slack with the sudden surprise of his return.
Then, he said 'Hello', and Amy burst into a grin.
"'Bout time ye got here," she teased playfully, despite the fact that she'd actually been worried sick about what had happened to him when he'd disappeared into the Time Vortex a bit earlier.
"So, ahh... Where exactly is here?" Amy asked The Doctor in a low voice, not wanting to sound like a complete idiot in front of the new people she'd just run into.
