Since I've had a bit of a problem with rpers playing the Doctor, could you please write a sample response to a scenario -- let's see here -- the Ninth Doctor has been kidnapped in one of our threads, so how would Nine respond being taken against his will, and what would Nine do/say?
You can make up the circumstances. Please write at least five sentences, but you can do more. I just want to make sure you have him in character and to see how you would write him.

Hi ... :]
I've been role-playing for around five years now, mostly on Warrior-cat sites and some mythical forums. I saw this site advertised on a forum I used to frequent and was very excited. I'm a huge Doctor Who fan, but I've never come across a role-play before. Honestly, I only signed up to try out for Nine. No hard feelings of course, but if I can't get the part, I may not stay. I haven't decided yet. :]
So, I think I'll start with your kidnapped scenario, if thats all right.
----------------------------------------
They talked to each other, grunting and whispering in their peculiar language. Their furry bodies pressed close together, brushing against each other in an attempt to be heard. Argumentative, they shoved one another with gruesome claws, yellow and cracked from too much use. Their eyes flashed in the dim light, making them an even more frightening presence.
In the shadows, the cage was shoved against a cold wall. Water dripped from the cave ceiling, making a continuous ping, ping, ping! on the iron bars. The man inside leaned his forehead against them, groggily watching his captors. He coughed, the taste of blood was on his tongue and his lips were dry and swollen. There was something wrong with his right eye, or else it was the darkness making it difficult to see. When he lifted his hand to touch his forehead, he felt a warm, sticky film that stained his fingertips. He wasn't frightened, even when pain seared up his leg. He did, however, want to know how he had gotten there. A bloody, broken, pent-up fool.
The movement from the cage alerted the creatures to their victim's renewed consciousness. Eagerly they approached. They pushed and shoved, each wanting to be the first to reach the cage. The Doctor sat up, finally surprised, his mind whirling with information. He had never seen these before, but he had heard. The alien's long snouts sported fangs that extended past the jaw, a wide-flaring nose, and many scars. They were wolfish, but their arched spines nested paper-thin wings lightly coated in fur.
"You live," one of the creatures made its way past the others, thrusting its muzzle up against the bars. It bared its teeth and panted, it's thick breath billowing over the saliva-coated tongue. It spoke in guttural tones, "You live."
The Doctor raised one eyebrow, leaning slightly back. That breath stank like dirty wet socks. "I am." he replied, keeping his voice respectfully low. "But I don't know how. Why am I here?"
The creature growled swinging its head from left to right, touching the shoulders of its companions. "You are prisoner." The others joined in, pawing at the stone floor. "Prisoner!" One in the back began to howl, a long throaty note that echoed through the cavern. The Doctor smiled.
"Lovely," he whispered. "Just fantastic. Can we go a bit further with this? Why am I a prisoner? And what have you done with the TARDIS?"
--------------------------------------------
I'm going to stop here. Obviously, I need some work. Ten has always been my favorite, and I'm forgetting some of Nine's traits. I'll be sure to brush up, and hopefully one of you liked this :] Thank you! [/size]

Awesome. Accepted. What I shall do is break this topic up so that your posts and the original profile are moved to the accepted part while the rest will stay here in the rejected/pending application.
