Character Sheet
Original
Name: The Puppeteer (Original name was Peteral Terfagem)
Age: 756 in Gallifreyan years. Appears around late twenties/early thirties.
Species: Time Lord
Planet of Origin: Gallifreyan
Occupation: Being the Mentalist's ally and being quiet.
Physical Description: Tall and lanky man who does look strange and creepy. Pale skin, always looks as if he's a bit peaky. Has long black hair; that's thin, usually greasy and tied back. Has high cheek bones, very bony boy. Dark brown eyes and eye sockets are more compact and darker than normal. Thin body and very snake like movements. Wears old, but tight, black jeans that are ripped at the bottom, with black and dirty white sneakers. Also wears a loose black t-shirt with a dark grey hoodie on top. Always wears a few thread bracelets on the right wrist, woven together with the Gallifreyan for 'lost' symbol in it.
Personality: Very quiet and reserved. He does not say and his face is not very expressive. It's hard to read him but he has a sharp mind. He notices everything. He speaks around his friends, but less than a normal person would and in a quiet tone, always. He's not very expressive but as sharp as a tack.
History:The Puppeteer is a creepy man. That's probably why he's good friends with The Mentalist.
As a child, his family were given to the Sontarans by High Council as a late payment for their help in the Black Sun War (1st Time War). Both he and his cousin were not included, as they were not apt for the situation, being young children and knowledge-less. The Time Lord family were given and were to be used for their immense knowledge, but instead, the Sontarans thought them useless and killed them.
Peteral was left orphaned and to look after his younger cousin, Medea. They were put with a foster family, but the results were not good. The family gave them both care, love and affection, but Peteral didn't accept it. He couldn't understand why his family were taken from him, so he started to stay quiet and speak less. After time, he didn't even speak to anyone besides of his cousin and stopped showing his anger. Eventually he took revenge on his foster family. The two were then cast onto the streets, but not for long, due to their age.
As a hasty decision, Peteral attended the academy for time lords. He had no real plans for the future, just making sure his cousin could survive and that would come through him attending the academy. His grades were not great, but he passed enough to be considered and took the exam. After he looked into the schism, he became even more silent and reserved, but focused as a hidden talent was uncovered and amplified by the schism.
His family had all been skilled in mind control, Peterals genetics proving him to have some talent. The schism allowed him to discover his ability and gave him reason for his name. He is incredibly skilled in mind control and can, literally, turn someones mind into that of a puppets. He can have total control over (almost) any ones mind; he can control their actions, thought processes, speech, emotions and everything else, while still conscious himself. But his ability is not endless and he can not use it too often in one day. His threaded bracelet is often taken apart and the threads are used during mind control, tied onto the various limbs to increase the accuracy of his puppets movements.
He then attended the after-academy (high-school), not the one that The Doctor and co. attended, but the one The Psychologist attended. He didn't have many friends, most people found him a 'creep'. During his first few years, he wandered around lost and lonely, seeking out friendships that never worked. That was still the case in his senior years, but he found a friend/comrade in The Mentalist, who'd already left school.
They met in the oddest of ways. Once late at night, The Puppeteer was scavenging the streets for food and came across The Mentalist assassinating someone in a dark alleyway. He watched then as The Mentalist turned to fled, the two saw each other and The Mentalist went to kill him too. As a self defense mechanism, The Puppeteer tried to control The Mentalist. He expected his technique to work, only to find his technique backfiring. Due to The Mentalists own problem, The Puppeteer could not enter or control his mind, and was left at the mercy of the personalities he encountered. Both were left in a state of shock, only for The Mentalist to help him back up and ask him about his ability. After becoming interested and finding a good team in them working together, The Mentalist and The Puppeteer decided to join forces and became friends.
He spent less time at school and studying, failed most of his exams. The boy didn't care, all he cared about was perfecting his talents and hanging around with The Mentalist. As he failed the finals, his employment out of window as his reputation went up. The police started to figure out his links with the Mentalist and he was constantly on the run.
When the Mentalist was put into 'secure locations' and given not-so-effective therapy, he'd always be the one to try and help him break-out, but as time went on, less so. He'd got fed up of prisons and saw less of his friend, so eventually moved off to another planet to hide-out. The 2nd Time-War (Series/EOT one) broke out, so he and his cousin camouflaged themselves as the native species until it was over. He saw some of the events of the time-war but never got involved.
Now it's over, he's come out of hiding and travels the stars with his cousin in his old black TARDIS searching for his friend. He knows he's out there, he just has to find him, wherever he is...

Character Sheet
Original
Name: The Marionette ~ Original name was Medea Regfead
Age: 494 in Gallifreyan years. Appears in her twenties.
Species: Time Lady
Planet of Origin: Gallifrey
Appearance: Short and thin lady. Healthy skin color, with rosy cheeks. Has blond hair, with fringe/bangs and the inch of hair next to it curls twice. Has a slightly chubby face, which adds to her cute appearance. Has blue eyes, that are often hidden under her blond bangs. Wears a cute dark blue dress, tied together with a ribbon. The ribbon has a few Gallifreyan letters on it. Usually wears boots with white socks. Often wears a sunflower necklace, though the yellow enamel is a bit chipped.
Personality: Plays cute to the maximum. She constantly acts sweet and lovely, in order to win people over. In reality, she's a manipulative, jealous and nasty girl. Constantly complains about others behind their backs, tries to steal both items and people away from others and at the same time, tries to act all innocent.
History: The Marionette shared a childhood with The Puppeteer, experiencing the same loss of family and foster family. She however, was too young to understand why her family were taken and doesn't hold the same grudges as her cousin does. She lived on the streets with her cousin, growing up with him.
As he attended the first years of the academy, she scavenged for food while he was away. She learned how to make a fire out of almost nothing and her survival instincts are good. When she turned the right age, she too enrolled into the academy and followed her cousin around, too shy to talk to anyone else. When she looked into the schism, a little bit changed. She became a lot more confident and learned how to use her cute looks to get her places.
She has little unique abilities, apart from her charm and looks. She also has the immense knowledge that all time ladies have. She often works in a team with her cousin, allowing him to control her body/mind. They often use the technique and are often seen as a successful pair.
She too attended the same school as her cousin, not talking to many of the girls, just keeping a small group. She has a few friends and they talk about the normal things a teenager would. She was not as innocent as she appeared, often manipulating the girls outside of her friends into bad situations. She loved doing it and got most of the girls in her year and above into trouble. She has met The Psychologist once and manipulated her into insulting the headmaster, which got her into serious trouble. The two learned to hate each other.
The Marionette was introduced to The Mentalist by her cousin. They got on well, often tricking each other for fun and joking around, despite the age difference. She liked hanging around with her cousin and him, finding a lot more in common with them, than her friends at school.
She occasionally skipped class, but studied enough to pass tests and exams, graduating in the finals. But she loved nothing more than getting people into trouble. She didn't seek out any regular employment, just the odd cafe job to earn enough. She just liked helping her cousin and the Mentalist out, by weaving herself into high places with her looks and letting them do the rest of the work.
She too left Gallifrey with her cousin and survived the time war by changing herself into the native species with the use of her cousin's TARDIS technology. Now, she follows her cousin wherever he leads in search of her old friend and acts as his voice.
