Owen was hearing Jack talking to the other men. Jack Harkness was flirting. The half dead man mumbled in the coffin. That was the one thing when it came to Jack. That Jack flirted about anything. That had made Owen mad and he grew impatient. Banging on the coffin, Owen had to remind Jack to move along. It was not like I am really dead.

(OOC: From a certain perspective, Galen's right arm is a prosthetic. From a different perspective, it's a Mondasian cyberarm covered by a jacket sleeve and a glove. He's actually wearing gloves on both hands, which might look a little odd.)
Galen returned first Scott's and then Jack's handshakes a trifle awkwardly. He was right dominant, and still hadn't fully mastered the left hand handshake. "Pleasure to meet you both," he said.
"So how about these air hostesses?" Scott said, nudging Galen in the rib.
He pushed his sunglasses back into place, and nodded appreciatively. "Not bad at all. Almost makes the flight worth it."
He looked from Scott to Jack to Scott again. "Is this everyone we're expecting? I thought there was supposed to be at least one-" He stopped short, staring, as a thumping sound emanated from the inside of Jack's coffin.

Ooc; Sorry about this, guys, but I'm going to reply for both Scott and Jack from this account. Just because it's more convenient for me right now... and because I'm tired. I'm also really stressed. School starts tomorrow!
Keaton
Scott chuckled after Galen had spoken, slipping his hands in his jean pockets and fiddling with his phone. Sometimes he wished he could fly all over the world, just to stare at the ladies. Unfortunately, his television show didn't offer many holiday breaks. He was stuck with the tanned ditzies that often roamed the beaches and clubs around his house.
But which would I prefer? He thought, his eyes suddenly looking off into the distance. A cramped cabin only to see a few smart foreign chicks or dozens of gorgeous women with no brains at all?
His thoughts were cut short by the deep thudding emanating from the coffin. His jaw dropped as he stared at the rattling black lid. Was Jack trying to smuggle something illegal into Australia? Perhaps it was an alien. If he knew anything about Jack, it was probably an alien. Or some of his estranged lovers.
"What the bleep is that?" Scott said loudly, taking a step back.
Harkness
Upon Galen's response to Scott, Jack's coy act diminished. These men were brilliant. Scott seemed like a total idiot, which suited him perfectly fine, while Galen was the strong, more serious type. The smile that had already been plastered to his face turned into his signature grin - pearly whites gleaming, dimples revealed, eyes glittering under the fluorescents.
He opened his mouth to answer Galen's question, but he, too, was cut short.
"Aah..." Jack muttered, looking slightly flustered. "That would be my colleague -" he smacked the coffin lid loudly "- Owen Harper. It's a long story, but basically... he's dead. Shut up, Owen. It's weird having the coffin moving about so much on the trolley."
Jack had been planning on telling the others about Owen in the car. He had had it all planned out, too! He'd asked politely for Owen to rise out of the coffin groaning, like a zombie. Two minutes later, he'd realized that Galen and Scott would probably be armed in some way, so he'd dismissed it. Even so, it was strange explaining why his coffin was moving around and making noise in the middle of the airport.
As if he didn't look weird enough already.

[ooc Its okay fine with me. This is a good thread and well done] Weird was normal for Captain Jack Harkness and his team. The weird when something was normal for Torchwood. Now that would be classified weird. He was about to shout at Jack but he heard the response of the bang and shut up.
Remembering sitting and listening to Toshiko’s presentation on the two men back at the HUB. Owen JUST notice he did not hear Toshiko with Jack. Perhaps Toshiko was doing her technical wiz thing. Too bad Gwen could not have joined them. The promise of having time with Rhys was overdue. Now
Gwen and Rhys are happily alone with each other.
Closing and opening his eyes had no change. It was dark. Though when Owen closed his eyes he felt cold like death was there waiting to come again. It was a terrible feeling. Not liking to be alone, Owen needed to be comforted. To have someone to beside him, Owen felt fear. Repeating it will be better over and over through his head. The mantra sometimes work and sometimes it does not work. It was not doing so well. Owen fought to hang in there. Trusting Jack to save him, Owen felt he be growing fear with coffins.

Jack sighed with relief as the coffin stopped moving. It seemed Owen had caught the hint and settled.
It must be dark in there, Jack thought absently, waiting for the other Torchwood members' reactions. At least it'll be cooler. I hate to think about what would happen if Owen got out into the heat and started rotting. He's stink! He shuddered at the thought.

Galen pushed his mirrored sunglasses back up on his nose, and stared at the coffin. It was a modern one, too well insulated and sealed for him to see any heat signatures.
He looked at Jack. "Uhm..." his hand twitched towards the coffin. "Do I want to ask? And would you tell me if I did?"
He'd heard about Jack's... appetites, and hoped this didn't represent one of them.

Ooc; Hey there, my lovelies. I apologize for my lack of posting! School has been mighty hectic and I have so much homeworkthat it physically hurts me. I'm not even joking right now. Being a Senior is a pain in the butt.
Anyway, I'll be posting Keaton in a short while. I have a few jobs to do around the house first. You will definitely receive a reply, but!
The look on Scott's face was reminiscent of stunned child. His eyes were wide, one eyebrow raised and the other quivering dangerously, his mouth hanging open, his arms frozen in mid-fold. Had this not been such a strange situation, he was sure someone somewhere would be taking a picture of him, but even strangers seemed to be focused on the rocking coffin.
Colleague? Scott thought incredulously. Wait, dead? The doctor is dead? Well, this'll be one wild party.
A few more thoughts ran through his head, bordering madman status. He considered running from the airport screaming and flailing his arms or opening the coffin just to be sure. Heck, he even considered finding his assistant, the snide prude. Instead, he just nodded, like he did this every day.
It seemed like Galen wasn't afraid to ask questions anyway. Scott gave an inward sigh of relief. Unable to express himself for once.

Jack shrugged in response to Galen's questions, studying Scott intently. The usually-grinning Australian man looked as though he might vomit. The Captain made a careful note to stay at least one meter from him for the time being. He didn't like the thought of sick-colored slacks.
Eventually, Jack focused on Galen. "Like I said, that would be my colleague, Doctor Owen Harper. He's a tad bit dead. We didn't want to risk security asking too many questions, so we sent him across in a coffin. Wee bit morbid, but effective."
Always the leader, he pushed the heavy trolley between the two men, heading for the doorway in the distance. They needed to get Owen out of the coffin as soon as possible and an air-conditioned room seemed the most logical. Now that he thought about it, having a dead body rotting in the sun didn't seem so fun, but Owen would still be a big help in the rainforests.
"Where's the car, boys?" Jack said, weaving the trolley towards the car park.
The trolley hit the curb more than once, causing the coffin to bounce up and down occasionally. The grounds here definitely not designed for a man hiding in a coffin - cobblestones, speed bumps, gutters, and such, gave no relief to Jack's frantic attempts at keeping Owen even half-way comfortable.

Being a somewhat being near a corpse, Owen had different perspective and respect to the dead in a coffin now. Wondering what the Captain was thinking, Owen was finding himself uncomfortable with thoughts. This was not a Disney trip by far much. He had not gone off thinking about the rain forest being hot. That was one thing that had escaped him. Now he started to think on it and cursing under his breath. He was going to be a help to the team but he had to be separated from them. He had to stay in a cool and dry area. This was far from expecting a miracle but more a curse. He had much to offer but he was not willing to end his second life. Deciding to try come up with something pleasant, Owen had decided to stop it because thinking about women was not helping. He needed to be held by someone. He needed to hear someone’s voice.

Jack focused on Galen. "Like I said, that would be my colleague, Doctor Owen Harper. He's a tad bit dead. We didn't want to risk security asking too many questions, so we sent him across in a coffin. Wee bit morbid, but effective."
Galen blinked - well, with only one remaining original issue eye, it was more of a wink - but he didn't really react. Maybe it was his consummate professionalism. Maybe it was the fact that he had experienced an enormous amount of strangeness in his time with Majestic-12. Or maybe it was just the fact that he was so tired right now that he was just assuming he was hallucinating anyway.
"Ah. Well, that makes sense. I assume he's still able to contribute to the mission?"
Always the leader, Jack pushed the heavy trolley between the two men, heading for the doorway in the distance.
"Where's the car, boys?" Jack said, weaving the trolley towards the car park.
The trolley hit the curb more than once, causing the coffin to bounce up and down occasionally.
"Beats me. I just got here."

Ooc; Okay, I'm going to be posting for Scott and Jack through this account, because I don't have time to do much else at this stage. I have a ton of roleplays to reply to. I can't be shifting through accounts right now.
Keaton
[/b][/right] Torchwood has always been a step out of the ordinary for Scott, but he'd never expected to see his superior wheeling around a "dead" colleague. This was too weird. Dealing with alien threats? Saving the world on the rare occasion? Sure. Those were both in his job description. Working with a living dead man, however? No thanks.
"2H, aisle 3, black SUV parked on the left," he choked out, swallowing back a mouthful of vomit.
Man up, mate, Scott thought to himself, giving himself a mental lecture. This was no time to lose his cool. His main objective had been to show his superiority here. This was his turf and he knew what was happening. The others only had brief descriptions. Oh, but thank God the cameras were gone. If they were to see me walking with a coffin-bearing man, then I'd be in the paper for weeks. Then again... no. Torchwood. This is a Torchwood job.
Straightening his posture, he quickly followed the other two men, catching the middle of a conversation - a reply from Jack. [/font] Harkness
"Ah, thank you Scott," Jack said, wheeling Owen towards the allocated car park.
At first, he chose to ignore Galen's question. He wasn't sure whether the other man was asking it in a rude manner or simply out of curiosity. Eventually, he sighed and began thinking about a proper answer. Would Owen be any help here? They hadn't taken into account the heat, but Owen would be useful in many other areas.
"As long as he's in a cool environment, he'll be perfectly fine," Jack shot a small smile over his shoulder. An almost-wink in Galen's direction. "He's an amazing driver, good with corners and chases; he's a doctor, so, of course, he'll be good at stitching us up and cutting into our victims; perhaps he could do some admin work while we're out; study the area for us, give us warnings, et cetera."
He tapped the coffin lid lightly. "He'll be able to help. I don't doubt that." [/blockquote][/blockquote]

Ooc; Do you guys want to skip ahead to some point in the future? Perhaps their first encounter with the alien? Owen can be connected to them via earpiece.
If not, what would you guys like to move on to? I don't have much to work with other than them getting in the car and, well, driving. It sounds, you know, boring to me.

The whole trip being a car with the A/C was an annoyance to Owen. He never liked nature. Watching as things pass by, Owen was realizing how much he took things for granted when he was a breathing human being.
Being the state he was in, he had lost all lot. For instance, he could not feel the cold air of the A/C in the transportation. The idea he had to be off the field and sit in an A/C building so he won’t smell. Closing his eyes, he could see the darkness behind his eyelids. It wasn’t the darkness you see as living, but the real darkness like no other.
The driver and Galen seem to be keeping clear of Owen even after Jack explained what had happened to Owen in a Jack’s words. Owen had decided to keep his mouth out. He will be glad to see Gylfie but she might off awkward around him. It wasn’t like he was a vampire and sucked your blood out. Anyway, he was cheap to care. No food to eat and money being saved right there.
“So, I am going to be cooped up in an A/C room feeding info…” he rolled his eyes, placed his hand under his chin. It would be good too because maybe the player can do the alien if that what people want. “Who will be with me? Anybody, will Toshiko be with me?” He leaned close to Jack. “I don’t want to be left alone. After being that coffin it freaks ones psych Jack.”
