Dyullah grinned. "Alright. It was centuries back. Back when the Jhulei Council was ruling the Bhulei people. They would treat us more like animals than people. They believed that our job was to obey and nothing else. And we believed it too. We didn't know that life could be better than that. That was, until a Time Lord came, the Djeddah. We have lost his real name in time and from the Jhulei's efforts. He came in his ship to learn about our people. But when he found out how we were treated by our own government, he appealed to the Council. They denied his right to speak, but he warned that his people would eventually learn that life was not all about obeying their rulers. He taught Gelhu's ancestor, my ancestor, about life on other planets and how their governments were. Later, after he left, my ancestor created an alliance that toppled the corrupted government."

The Doctor grinned, "and you say that that was your father?"
Melissa nodded.

"That's also why this planet has its own terrorist group," Clara said.
"Right," Dyullah nodded. "There are still Jhulei supporters, even after so long. Some of them claim Jhulei bloodties and that the Djeddah had caused the feud for malicious purposes."

The Doctor replied, "I guess we really know you're a Time Lord now...your father was one."
Melissa playfully punched him.

Chelsea leaned her head against Dyullah's arm

Dyullah looked to Chelsea and smiled. Five years since he'd last seen her and he thought about her the whole time. Worrying about her, wondering what she was doing, wondering if she would come back.

"Tell us more about Melissa's father," the Doctor instructed.

Dyullah looked to the Doctor and shrugged. "I'm afraid that story is all I know. There was a book, but after our run-in with the Jhulei, Gelhu hid it. She didn't tell me where she hid it."

The Doctor nodded, "That's okay...do you know where this man went? Did he talk about going to any other planets?"

Dyullah shook his head. "No one knows where he went, but he did talk about the planets he had been too."

"Where had he been to?" the Doctor asked.

Dyullah started listing a few planets, getting a couple of the names wrong.

The Doctor knew what Dyullah meant. "Do you know what he did on those other planets?"

Dyullah shrugged. "Gathered information about the planets and their peoples, I'd imagine."
