The Bringer resisted tge urge to kill the Master, he'd learned a long time ago that revenge only led to pain. "I'm sorry." he whispered to the General as he turned and went to join Echo and the humans. "You know Tyler, we have better hearing than humans. And don't worry, I'm not offended." he said as he put away his weapons and walked up to them.

Tyler followed after the Professor, also wanting to get out of the path of the fight between the Bringer and the Master.
He looked at the Professor, seeing the sad expression and also hearing it in her voice. "I'm sorry.....what happened?" he asked her. And then added, "Gallifrey.....hmmmm....isn't that some name of a place on Earth? I think I've heard about a place like that or something that sounded similar to that in name."
It's nowhere near earth, Tyler. It was once a planet far from here, ancient and beautiful. And it's dead, now." She glanced up into the sky, looking where it would be, millions of lightyears away if it still existed. She shrugged lightly, coping. "There was a war between my people and Daleks. We both lost. We both burned. And the Doctor ended it."
Both the Bringer and the Master gave Tyler the creeps. "So we're walking in the right direction?" Tyler asked, hopeful that they'd be arriving soon.
"We are," she pointed towards the direction they were headed in. "I'm following the sounds to the loudest group of people. I'm also heading towards where I know Captain Jack Harkness will be. He's human. But immortal. Long story. Final act of the War."
Amy decided her best bet was to hang out with what was apparently the only other human there so she hurried after Echo and Tyler. She had seen some scary stuff but this Master guy was freaky, he could throw lightning, teleport and he had that whole 'I'm clinically insane so you better run' thing going on. "Hey can I come with you guys. You seem to be the only normal people besides me and Rory, I don't think the Doctor quite qualifies as normal...but he's not quite that wierd." Amy stopped her rambling and just walked alongside Tyler.
Tyler glanced back at the human female and nodded. "Yeah...of course. So Rory is your husband, right?' Tyler was glad for the company of other humans, as he was just newly exposed to aliens. He really didn't know about this Master person. "Aliens are weird," he whispered to Amy. He hoped that the Professor didn't hear him.
The Professor grinned at Tyler, nodding. "I was trying to ignore it, actually. We aren't that weird. I think I'm being quite helpful and I'm not killing anyone. Despite the fact that my once keepsake prisoner is out on the loose trying to." She grinned brighter, hoping that she did come off as weird then, and wondering where Koschei had gone. He had been her only company on Gallifrey and now that they escaped, she knew that he wouldn't stay, but had hoped that maybe he wouldn't kill everyone again. She continued to walk, mind guarded and eyes continuing to look out at the landscape.

"haha, don't worry about me Bringer, i have everything under control" The General said before he regenerated. Seven seconds was it? Oh, i've already gone over, oh well, should still be enough energy. He clenched his fist, and the ring on his finger started to glow, as the regeneration energy drained away, The General started to inspect his new body, "Ok, short, still ginger," He felt his forehead, "pimples? Great, it's puberty all over again."

Rory was talking to this 'Tyler' person, "So, you're from this time? 27th century?" He asked him.

Tyler blushed slightly as he heard both the Bringer and the Professor tell him that they could hear him. "I'm....sorry...I didn't know that Time Lords had better hearing than humans." He then turned to the Professor in alarm. "Who...who is this Captain Jack Harkness person? I.....I thought we were going to the address where my parents and family are at." He wasn't exactly sure what to say to the Professor when she disclosed that her planet was destroyed. Not knowing what that would be like or how that would feel, he shifted uncomfortably. Tyler was even more surprised when he saw the glow from the General and the sudden change of appearance. "What was that? " These aliens certainly WERE strange. He glanced at Rory, who had come up beside him. Finding it much easier to talk to another human, he nodded, "Yeah...I'm from here."

The Bringer decided to move his mind to a slightly lighter topic, "So, has the Doctor changed much or he is he still the eccentric ball of quirks he's always been? He's lucky, getting such a young regeneration." he chuckled as he turned to Amy.

Tyler frowned when the Bringer brought up regeneration. He felt like he should know what that was, but he had no idea. He'd certainly heard the term before in other contexts, but he had a feeling that the Bringer was talking about something completely different. "What's a regeneration?" he blurted out, confused.

"Regeneration," the Professor started, "it's a way Time Lords cheat death. We literally change into a new person." She grinned brighter. "And I don't know the Doctor, Bringer. The only Time Lord I've ever really gotten to know is the Master and Koschei. And trust me, they are two different people in my eyes."

The General walked up to the Professor, Tyler.
"See, living proof of regeneration," The General said turning around, "I'm not that fussed, us Time Lords get 12 of them, i'm on my 5th"
I look about 18.... well, I suppose I have youthful vigor. ((OOC: Vigor=forceful exertion))

It was then the Professor realized she had overlooked Tyler's question. "Captain Jack Harkness is a human, don't you worry. He lives here on Earth and I'm hoping, being a Time Lady, he'll help point me in the direction of your parents' place. I'm not from here, I have no clue where on this planet anything really is. And the Doctor's a bit... preoccupied anyway."

"Captain Jack? The immortal man, a god on some planets, on others...." He trailed off. "Anyway, this is London, so he should be around somewhere, well if the legends are right"

New York, 1924
The man smiled. "And when did you pull this off?"
"While you were sleeping," the woman said, then grabbed his legs. "Come on, get up and let's go. Where do you want to go? Where and what time frame?"

Tyler frowned, "I....I thought you said that you could.....oh...you meant on taking me to Jack to figure it out."
He stared at the General. "You mean...you're the same person that....that was battling? Why only 12 of them?' He was fascinated by these aliens, yet at the same time was slightly afraid of them. "And who is this Doctor person?"
(Jack is in Cardiff most of the time, isn't he....so did they know ahead of time that he was going to be in London? If they go to Jack's they're going to have to wait for the person to play Jack to come on)

Amy glanced at Tyler and grinned, "That would be him, what about you, got any girlfriends or special someones?" Amy couldn't help it she always felt the need to pry into other peoples business. After all that was the way she had gotten some of the famous people throughout space and time's first hand story. She felt sympathy for the poor guy, he had said he had never seen alien's before this. She had known about other-wordly things since she met the doctor.
Upon hearing his whispered comment Amy giggled and said, "These guys aren't nearly as weird as some of the one's I've met."She absolutely loved seeing people's reaction to the reality of aliens, and this was so far one of the most normal.

Tyler shook his head, "No.....I don't have a girlfriend.....used to have someone that I liked......I think her name might have been Kyra or something like that. I don't know for sure......I don't really remember her....but I dream about her sometimes. I don't even know where she is now -- we were friends when we were really little, I think. I wish I did know what happened to her."
He appreciated Amy's interest and friendliness, unused to that. He smiled at her and Rory.
