James looked at him and smiled softly. "You'll find a girl, I bet." He looked up as Clara came out and smiled at her.
Clara smiled at him and went over to him. "You were worried?"
"No," James said.
Clara tsked, "Don't lie to me, You're more predictable than that."

Tyler watched how Clara and James interacted, waiting for the Doctor to come out as well. "So....how did an alien and a human meet and ....and fall in love?" he asked Clara and James, waiting for either of them to answer as they waited for the Doctor.

Clara looked over at Tyler. "You sure I won't lie to you? You've seemed very suspicious of me from the start. Besides, it's a long boring story how we met."

Tyler frowned at Clara. He thought to himself, "I take it back...I don't like any of these aliens...they're all so....mean and rude...and.....and...weird."
He spoke out loud to Clara, crossing his arms angrily. "Fine, don't tell me then. I was just curious and trying to be friendly."
Glancing at James, Tyler felt sorry for the man. How he could fall for one of these aliens, Tyler didn't know. HE certainly never would. Humans were what he would stick to, thank you. He began to grow more and more impatient, waiting for the Doctor to come out. Never had he felt so alone in the universe. James, although he was human, had to be a little weird to willingly get engaged to something like THAT, he decided -- an alien.

James glared at him. "Hey, there's no need to take that sort of tone with her. She was being perfectly honest and you've been nothing but rude to her. And here I thought the future was supposed to be more progressed than that."
"James, please," Clara said, trying to calm him down.
"No, I've had enough of it," James said. "I don't know how you can be so patient with him. He's been nothing but mean and condescending to you and your people when all you've tried to do is help him. Why don't we leave now? He doesn't seem to appreciate what you're trying to do for him."

Tyler turned to face James. "Well, what do you expect me to do -- I'm a human....the alien thing is all new to me...."
He stared at James. How did this man know what he was thinking or what was going through his head?
He sighed, "Look, I didn't mean to be rude or condescending...and I'm sorry....I......this is just all weird to me. I...I do appreciate it....I.....just...I don't know......"
He frowned. He didn't want people to think badly of him, nor did he want to come across as being mean or condescending. It was just very hard for him to trust aliens -- after all, all he'd ever heard about aliens in works of fiction caused him to be highly suspicious of them. He really didn't like the Doctor, though, and he didn't like some of Clara's actions or attitudes...but maybe it was hard for her to be around humans.

"Then stop being so touchy," James said. "I know what it was like when it was all new to me, but you don't have to go around turning your nose up at people like that just because you don't understand them. The way you keep talking to her-"
"James," Clara said to him sternly. "If you want to go back, fine, go back in the TARDIS and wait for me, but you don't have the right to turn on people like that. You know full well that when you found out about me you acted worse than he."
James looked at her, as if her words stabbed right through him.
Clara softened a bit at that. "I'm sorry... Just try to calm yourself, alright? His world as he knows it has just been turned on its head and quacked at him. A little patience, yeah?"
James sighed and nodded.

Tyler glared at James, feeling betrayed by him. He had just started to warm up to him, too. However, at Clara's response, he apologized again.
"Again, I'm sorry.....I....." He looked around for the address. "Hey, where's the address? Do you have it, or does the Doctor?"

"I think the Doctor has it, last I checked," Clara said.
James saw his glare and squeezed Clara's hand. "We shouldn't be helping him..."
"And I shouldn't have taken you back, but I did," Clara sent back, squeezing his hand back. "It's alright, Tyler. I know that I can't please everyone."

Tyler sighed, "Well, you don't have to help me if you don't want to......I can see that your boyfriend doesn't really want you to...honestly, I don't want to burden you.....and I don't have anything to pay you with for the inhaler, so you can have it back, if you want."

Clara shook her head. "You may need it. It's yours. We have no need for it."

Tyler nodded at Clara, "Well, if you're sure...all right....so why are you...on this planet?"
He knew that Clara was probably right. He might need that inhaler again, as he could have benefited from having it in the past. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to stay in bed for hours, trying to breathe, sometimes days, as he had in the past.

The General looked at Tyler, he was just like he was as a Time Lord, except a bit dumber, I guess you knew he was chameleon arched? He sent to Clara, he hadn't seen the Time Lord on Gallifrey, but he hadn't seen everyone on Gallifrey, so he couldn't really say anything.

The Doctor waited casually by the door, inspecting his fingernails carefully and letting Clara sweep out of the TARDIS before him. He clicked his heels together nonchalantly, straightened his bow tie, and turned to leave.
Curiosity stopped him. He wanted to see this other TARDIS that was owned by such a different- albeit nice- Time Lord. The Doctor glanced absently at the door and, having been thoroughly assured that the others were too engrossed in their conversation to notice his absence, he slipped away. If there was something important looking, he inspected it carefully. Occasionally he muttered something along the lines of, "I knew mine was better. Bigger, too.".
Finally, he pulled a lollipop out of a pocket. Content, he hurried outside again, sucking on the hard candy. "'ere's te mpaper," he said, waving the address above his head. His voice was muffled by the lollipop and he smiled softly to himself, hardly knowing what he was so happy about. Probably it was the ridiculous sound of his voice.

Tyler spun around when the Doctor came back into view. Although he still didn't like this Doctor fellow, at least he had people to help him.
"Great, thanks," he replied. Then he glanced at Clara and James, both of whom he felt slightly distant with again. Fearing the Doctor's response if he dared to ask him a question, but the curiosity winning, he asked him, "So, what planet are you guys from anyway?"
