I was newly unemployed and looking for work. I also had the flu and was spending just days online. At one point, I just couldn't fill out one more application, and on a whim, googled 'role play doctor who' . I've been doing that periodically for years. This is the first time anything came up that was entirely prose based, which is the only kind of game I'm interested in.

Jackpot.

Now I find this place simply perfect.

I found it by searching Doctor who free roleplay site/forum thing... I found two. the first one was pretty much dead since the most recent post on it was from a year ago. Then I clicked here. and started talking in the ooc chat box. Met Sage and Sarah Jane and The Second Doctor and of course the Master. After which I joined.

I am really really glad I found this site. It's so much fun!

I did not have to find it. It followed me for a bit. Until one day all the games I played slowed down. I needed a game. So I checked it out. I joined. I never got my shots too.

I was looking for a Doctor Who roleplay site. You're quick to go for the one with the big spiffy graphics, but the problem is those are often very closed off communities, hard to get in as a new one. That and most of them had like.. a post once a week? That simply won't do for me, I'm far too impatient P:

I mainly choose this place for it's activity and I see now I made the right choice ^_^

My discovery of this site was virtually the same as Sisi's.

It was fairly prosaic, actually. I'd just picked up the new pen-and-paper Doctor Who rpg from Cubicle 7, and was hanging around their message boards with all kinds of ideas fizzing around in my brain and nobody to actually play the game with.

Then I saw Ten's ad on the board, mentioning that there were still Doctor roles to go around. Including the First. And I'd just about finished watching the entire run of William Hartnell ad the Doctor (and dang, the Cybermen were weird back in the day...), so I checked it out.

A thousand or so posts later, with two different logins, I'm hooked.

An advertisement caught my eye. I had been on "Welcome To Camelot" as Mordred and I had recently been watching Tom Baker's era with my father. At the opportunity to play Romana, I jumped right up and applied.

Needless to say, I was accepted.

I absolutely love this site, even if I am no where near as active as I have been. I'm working to fix that, I promise!
