Correon glanced at the Doctor, "Why don't you talk to the Lord President? That might be a little....easier...and a little more orthodox."
He knew how the Doctor could be, making fast last minute decisions. Sometimes these decisions turned out well, but sometimes they didn't. All of Gallifrey seemed to be at risk, and they couldn't act impulsively. Of course the attack sounded like it would be imminent, but the Doctor should still use one of the proper channels still available to him. Coreeon could only hope that the President would listen.

"Correon, just tell the armies to assemble on Karnak fields, alright?" the Doctor sounded tired. He had done this many times before, the outcast who saves his planet from Sontarans or the Master or whoever was attacking it that day.

Correon replied to the Doctor, "We still must inform the Lord President.....I'm sorry, Doctor, but we must follow procedure."
He knew the situation was urgent. Really, though, it wouldn't be much for them to contact the Lord President, as he could be reached by TARDIS or Telepathy or by a visit to his office in the TARDIS.
"It won't take long, Doctor....but it must be done."

"OK Doc, what have you done this time?" The General said, coming out from nowhere, "Cyberchampions, great, sorry for the rude interruption, how's it goin' Doc?" He said shaking his hand. "Sooooo, how are ya gonna deal with this one Doc? You can borrow a few laser guns from me if you want, I have plenty."

(they're in the Doctor's TARDIS right now -- how did the General get inside?)

(they're not in the TARDIS, they're walking to the citadel)
"General. Go talk to the lord president. I want several thousand elites on Karnak Fields, ASAP."

(oh....for some reason I thought they were in the Doctor's TARDIS. I thought I remembered them getting into his TARDIS. Hmm....not sure why I had it in my mind that they were in his TARDIS. I went back and read that the Doctor changed clothes....I just thought I remembered him having Correon come in. Not sure why I thought that )

(( )) "Sure, I had a genetic enhancement not that long ago, makes me run fast, cya in a min" He said as he ran towards the citadel. ((I'll be Lord President, until someone else wants him.)) When he got to the front gate, he didn't even bother to stop, showing him his ID on the way past. He ran into the elevator, and pressed the button for the top floor, he saw the President looking out the window of the citadel at the ships. He turned around, "General?" he said, "how many do you want?" "Hail Rassilon, and all that, I want a few thousand, elites," He said to the President. " Please?" "Elites? Well, I suppose this is an appropriate time," he stretched his fingers, making a computer monitor appear in between them, he spoke into the computer. "Elites, about... five thousand?" He said to the General. "Yeah, that should do." He replied. "Five thousand it is then." He said, again speaking to the computer.

Correon looked to the Doctor, "We'll see whether or not the Lord President cooperates. I hope that he does."
With nothing to do to bide the time, he waited for word from the General about whether or not the President agreed to the plan, and would send the armies. If not, the three of them would have to go against the Council and gather up an army themselves.

The Doctor clapped his hands once. "Alright, then. We have to hurry, I don't know how long it'll be until the army comes."

Corroen nodded, "All right, I will follow your lead, as you have had dealings with these cyberchampions before. What are their weaknesses? What are their strenghs? This information will have to be communicated quickly to our army."

In the distance, The General was running in front of an army of elites, he reached the Doctor and Correon. "Umm... yeah, he agreed," He said looking back at the army, "So... we ready?"

"Stay out of their way. Attack with sniper weapons. They can crush a skull with one hand. Target the antennae on their heads, they're filled with a blue liquid, it will explode on contact."

"I believe that's xeronxium, Doc, if you can get them close enough you should be able to start off a chain reaction, should take out more of them, about 40 or so." he said.

Correon nodded at the Doctor's words and instructions. "But why have they come to attack Gallifrey?"
