Ten said nothing to Rose in clarification to the statement. "Well, we don't want anything bad to happen to the Doctor then...." Ten said instead of clarifying his statement.
Ten nodded, "Right...I'll stay here and wait for you then.....and don't worry, I'm not going anywhere...at least I hope not. But if I am gone, then whomever took the Doctor also took me....and um....take this in case you need to track me as well." He pulled out his sonic screwdriver. "Should be at the right setting....or wait....what if they take you... we really should go together."

Rose kept her eyes level and stared at David. "No."
The back of her mind knew it was better to go together, no matter what the risk, but she was silencing it the best she could.
((OOC: I think it's a good idea for them to go together, plus it'll make for interesting rping, but the Doctor is going to have to convince Rose, perhaps wear her down, repetition. Anything you think would work.))

Ten looked at Rose, a serious expression on his face. "If we separate, it would make it easier for one of us to be captured. Look, I know you're scared or uncomfortable around me, but right now, I'm the only one who can help you. Do you want to find your friend?"
Ten kept looking at Rose, his eyes fixed on her.

"Of course," Rose's gaze stayed steady. He was right though...he was the only one that could help her in this. And that nagging part of her mind was pushing it's way through. "But you've got to understand that you're still not clear in this."

Ten nodded, "Okay....and thank you."
He knew that she didn't trust him, and he could understand why. However, at least she trusted him enough to let him come with her. It was a start at least. "Did he...did he say anything to you before you came here? Anything that might be important or give me a clue?"

Rose thought back.
"He was just upset because we were visiting my mum...he doesn't do domestic," she looked at David. "You say you know him, you probably know that."
"He mentioned when we got out of the TARDIS that we weren't where he had programed us to land. That the TARDIS must have landed off course. I didn't believe him really, I thought he was just trying to stall."
Rose looked around and inhaled and exhaled a heavy breath.
"Guess not..."

Ten glanced at Rose and nodded. "So....something got the TARDIS off course....all right....but that is strange....now why wouldn't it have affected....but then maybe it did....but.....but then.....where did he park the TARDIS?"
He hoped that Nine's TARDIS wasn't gone. He would also have to check his own...somehow, without Rose knowing that that's what he would do. If Nine's TARDIS had been taken, he would simply lead Rose to his version of the TARDIS. She might not know the difference, and it would also let him know whether or not his own was all right.

Rose watched the man babble. "This way...just a couple blocks up and one down." she gestured behind her down the street from where she had come.

Ten was secretly glad that Rose hadn't asked too many questions about just how he knew the Doctor, nor anything about his knowledge of the TARDIS. It was enough that Rose accepted his help and was trusting him enough to come along.
"Right.....allons-y.....wait...has he ever said that to you before?" Ten asked Rose. "No matter....come on." He started running in the direction that Rose had pointed, assuming that Rose would catch up.

This man certainly talked a lot. Before she could answer whether the Doctor had ever said alons-y to her before (Alons-y? Why would he ever have...Rose thought. What is it a super secret word those two share in the future or something?) he had said nevermind and ran down the street she had pointed to.
Turning around she ran with him, making sure to keep just a step or two behind him so he couldn't pull anything fast on her...it really wasn't hard seeing as he had such long legs and she wouldn't have been able to get in front of him if she wanted to.

Spong responded to Nine, "Well, well, well...your daddy ruined our experiment before....so now we're paying him back. How much do you think your father will pay us for?"
Spong had no way of knowing that Gallifrey was gone, and that the Doctor's father was dead. ___________ Ten glanced behind him to see that Rose was following. He grinned. It had been a long time since she had run with him. He pulled out his TARDIS key, not thinking anything of it. The Doctor gave keys to all of his companions, and his key looked no different from theirs. He assumed that Rose would think that he was a future companion of the Doctor's -- or maybe a past one.
(you get to decide whether or not the TARDIS is there. You can also play a temp bad guy if you want)

(OOC: hmm...I'm not sure which would be better...because without something of 9's we can't track him (though maybe we could >.>) and it would be cool to see the TARDIS's reaction to realizing something's different with the Doctor...yet at the same time the other option has many possibilities...let me think about it just a bit. Which were you leaning towards?))

Rose saw the key David had pulled out and became momentarily confused. That quickly cleared up as her mind bluntly told her 'he *is* a friend of the Doctor's...maybe close so he got the key, I mean I'm not that special...or...
Then another thought hit her...or he could have taken it off the Doctor at any point in the past...I mean...future...just to do this very thing...her confusion came back. But that somehow didn't make sense.
She watched him as they ran. Whether he had a key or not...he was not getting into the TARDIS...she could go get something of the Doctor's and he could wait outside...
Turning the corner, she expected to see the TARDIS...but saw nothing...running to where it would have been she stared at the spot. Quickly, she looked around, but there was no sign of it nor any sign of...she didn't know...a struggle? Could the TARDIS protest? The Doctor had said nothing could get into the TARDIS when those doors were closed without a key...Her eyes moved to David, though she tried to stay calm and not jump to anymore conclusions....

Spong shook his head, "I don't think so, Doctor. You will work for us and be our slave. How does that sound?"
____________________ Ten ran his fingers through his hair. "Well, it doesn't look like it's here....which means.....which means...maybe it was moved.....I....think.....well......let's try it...."
He grinned at her. If Nine's TARDIS wasn't there, he would have to get her to see his own TARDIS. He wanted to find out whether or not it was still there, anyway. However, he was slightly concerned that she might notice something was different -- maybe she had left a sweatshirt somewhere. But that didn't matter now.
"Come on...." He started running to where he had remembered leaving his own TARDIS.
