Melody looked around the control room at the other two individuals, and wondered why they did not say anything. She mentally shrugged it off and returned her attention to The Doctor. She got closer and observed him at a section of the controls of his ship. She couldn’t help what she was doing at that moment, because it was a part of her nature. When her family ship had crashed fourteen years ago, she had already known how to pilot it because she watched her parents do it on numerous occasions.
When it was obvious that he was not going to receive an answer, she inwardly sighed and took a breath. ”I’m good for any place. What do you mean travelling with another non-human should be interesting?” Her curious upbringing had set in as she asked the Time Lord her question. As far as she knew the woman and the boy were human, so he must have been talking about her…

The Doctor turned to Melody when he heard her question. "Well, it's just that I've almost always had human companions....not always...but most of the time...humans. It's been a while since I've had another non-human...."
"Well then....I guess .....I'll have to choose...or maybe I could let the TARDIS....."
