Tyler replied, "You did what many of us wanted to do....the war was awful. I'm glad that you survived."

Clara smiled only a bit, because of the context of the words. "I'm glad you did too... So... you don't think I'm a... a traitor... a coward?"

Tyler shook his head, "No....not at all. You might not be alive if you hadn't have run away." Reply Edit . Report Abuse . Ban User . Delete Post .«Apr 24th, 9:17pm #4,704

"Right," Clara said. She was happy that he didn't hate her for that, but she still felt guilty for not doing her part.

Tyler grinned at her. She looked so beautiful...the way her hair was. He had to look away, afraid that she would notice how attracted he was to her.

Scarlett De Fontaine
Clara did notice, and her hearts were beating just a mite quicker because of it. She tried to focus on the console, but she couldn't help the occasional glance up at him. If she was wrong, she didn't want him to know that she was attracted to him. Reply Edit . Report Abuse . Ban User . Delete Post .«Apr 24th, 9:34pm #4,707

Tyler's hearts were beating a little faster than normal as well. He glanced her way several times, looking away, and then back at her.
Finally, he decided that it was getting really awkward for him, and he needed to say something.
"So...how much traveling have you done? And how did you meet my brother?"

Clara smiled nervously. "Well, uh, to tell you the truth, not that much. I didn't get my TARDIS fixed until several weeks ago, I had been on Earth for a while. First landed in Scotland, then moved to England, then Ireland, then New York. I met the Doctor when we were chasing after the Master. Come to find out, he had set a trap for the Doctor and I."

Tyler nodded, "Of course...the Master would be one of the few Time Lords to survive the war...."

Yeah..." Clara started to feel a bit tired, but she didn't want to go to bed now. "So... How did you survive?"

Tyler glanced back at Clara and shrugged. "I'm not exactly sure...the last thing I remember was being in the midst of battle, getting shot, and regenerating.....Correon was there....one of the Time Lords in the Council. He must have put me in a chameleon arch, then put me in my TARDIS and sent it to Earth...."

Clara nodded. "I remember Correon..."

Tyler smiled. "Yeah...well maybe we can talk about this later. You look fairly tired."

Tyler nodded, not really sure what to say to her. "So what room was it that had you cleaning it, covered in dust like that?"
