"'That works'?" Clara asked. "Sorry, I collect watches, especially pocket watches. It's an odd hobby, but..." She shrugged.

Tyler looked at her curiously. "Well...I have a pocket watch, but it's broken. Maybe you can fix it."
He pulled it out, Gallifreyan writing face down.

Clara smiled. "I'll see what I can do." She reached out her hand for it, but not forcefully, just as a friendly request.

Tyler handed her the watch, Gallfireyan writing face down.
He couldn't see the writing on it anyway, so he didn't know that one side was different from the other.

Thank you," Clara said as she took it, turning it over in her hand so she could see the Galifreyan writing. "A very beautiful watch indeed. Have you ever tried to open it?"
"Doctor... He most definitely has a chameleon arch," She sent to the Doctor.

The Doctor sent back, "Really? I....I'll be there right away. Don't let him open it unless he's healthy. If it's my brother, which he probably is, his regenerations are never good. I don't know what will happen when he changes back into a Time Lord. He always needed someone to be there with him when he regenerated, because his asthma usually caused him trouble."
The Doctor looked at Melissa and sighed. "I'll be back in a bit....the man that was brought in could be my brother."
Seeing that his emotions were all over the place, Melissa gently told the Doctor, "Then I'll be there with you."
Both Melissa and the Doctor ran in the direction of the infirmary, her hand in his.
______
Tyler looked back at Clara with a confused expression on his face. "It's broken....it's not going to open."

"Alright," Clara sent to the Doctor.
"Oh, I thought you meant broken as in it doesn't work... hmm..." she said to Tyler.

The Doctor and Melissa both arrived at the scene.
Tyler looked at them and then back at Clara. "It doesn't work...and it won't open..."

"Oh... well," Clara said, then looked at the two as they came in. "Look at this watch. Isn't it beautiful? Do you think we can fix it?"

Melissa stared at the watch. "Wait, isn't that just like mine.....it is!"
The Doctor stared at it, already knowing that Tyler had it because of Clara's message. "It is," he said. "How is Tyler....check his lungs again."

"His lungs are fine. I gave him an inhaler for his asthma," Clara said.
"It's exactly like yours, Melissa," she sent to her.
(Last-minute plans. I'll be heading out of town and I won't be back until tomorrow. I'll see if they have a computer I can borrow, but I won't be able to be on long even then.)

(Okay..thanks for letting us know)
Melissa stared at Tyler. "Have you tried opening it yet?"
The Doctor stood back, watching Tyler, and nodded at Clara. "Good...."
Tyler asked out loud, "Why do you guys want me to open it...it's broken...."

"We're just curious as to if it's as beautiful on the inside as the outside, but since it won't open, we'll have to wait until later," Clara said, giving Melissa a look.

Tyler sighed. "I'll prove to you that it won't open."
He grasped the watch, and, for the first time, he actually saw it. He attempted to open it.

Clara looked at Tyler, then to the Doctor for any ideas.
