Jed shook his head, "Yes...and no..."
Melivinca looked at him with interest, "What's going on?"
Jed sent a telepathic message to the Bringer, "It's bigger than I'd expected, and they will attack Gallfirey.....but they're waiting on something. They're not going to attack yet. We are all in danger. What do you think we should do?"
Jed waited for the Bringer to give him a response.

'Only tell those close to you who will keep it secret. The Daleks might be waiting for us to attack. The ones you tell, have them prepare for war.' The Bringer sent.

Jed nodded, "Come with me," he said to his daughter.
Melivinca, confused, followed her daughter to their family TARDIS. They had run there in a hurry. He'd already had a telepathic conversation with his wife, and she was already in the TARDIS.
As he and Melivinca entered, her mother took her arm and told her, "I'm really sorry to have to do this, but you'll be a lot happier."
She looked at her parents, "What do you mean?"
Jed said to her, "You're going to be human for a little while."
Her mother told her, "Things are going to be a little different as a human, but you'll just have to trust us." She picked up her daughter and hugged her tightly.
"What's going on?" Melivinca asked.
Jed responded, "The Daleks....Gallifrey is in danger, and we want to make sure that you are safe."
With that, he injected something into her arm, which made her pass out.
Her parents moved her over to the chameleon arch, her father putting a watch into it, and setting it. He'd heard that this process was painful, so he didn't want her conscious for it. The drug that he had given her was powerful enough to knock out a Time Lord for a long time. After the machine had done it's work on her, they set the coordinates for Earth.
Jed and his wife landed their family TARDIS on Earth, near an old friend's house.
Since Jed's daughter was still unconscious, he left her in the TARDIS with his wife.
Going up to his friend's door, he knocked on it. John came to the door, looking confused. Then he saw Jed and grinned.
"Jed! It's been a long time," he sad to him.
Jed nodded, "Yes, but there is a serious matter that I need to discuss with you."
John studied him for a moment, taking in his friend's expression. "What is it?"
Jed replied, "Something back home..." and at this he looked very afraid. "This race called the Daleks are after my people. There's going to be a war...a very bad one. I was wondering if you could watch over my daughter until things are...safe. If I am killed in this war, someone from Gallifrey will come to collect her."
John stared at him. He'd never seen his friend look this upset, and nodded. "Yes, Michelle and I will keep an eye on her, take care of her, etc."
Jed, looking somewhat relieved, responded, "Thank you. Oh, one thing you should know...she's human right now..."
John looked at him confused, "What? But you're a Time Lord...."
Jed nodded, "Yes, but there is a device called a chameleon arch that turns a Time Lord into a human. She won't have any memories of being a Time Lord, except maybe dreams occasionally. I'll come back for her as soon as I can. The chameleon arch hides her Time Lord consciousness inside a pocket watch. Keep the watch safe. She won't be able to see it for what it is because it has a perception filter on it. Still, though, I would hang onto it myself, if I were you. She is still a child. If someone draws her attention to the watch, she will see it and probably open it up, becoming a Time Lord again."
John tried to take it all in as Jed handed him the watch.
He then said, "She's in my TARDIS and is unconscious from the process....well that and I knocked her out before I put her in the chameleon arch."
John helped Jed carry Melivinca to John's house. John explained to Michelle what was going on. After a promise that he would return when the war was over, Jed and his wife left their daughter in the care of these two human parents.

Waleffijegrutadekuj sat beside Kyra. "I heard that they're investigating other planets....such a shame. Our race is superior to all others. Did you hear that the Doctor has been meddling with other races again?"

"Yes, I heard," Kyra said. She still didn't like the superiority complex that seemed to dominate the Time Lords.

Waleffijegrutadekuj had been hearing rumors, and he wanted to see if there was any truth to them.
