Clara really didn't trust him, especially when he said trust me. "Why should I trust you?" she asked, standing up. "You know more than any human should. You can't be a Time Lord, or else I would sense you. I would never forget my friends from one little hit on the head. Whoever you're working for, tell them that they won't be able to win me over like that."
With that she trudged back through the bog to try to get her TARDIS out of it.

Gandalf broke down, "I'm sorry Brax, I'm so sorry." he whispered between sobs. Picking himself off the ground, he took a final look at Clara, then turned away. He took out the Chameleon Arch from his pocket, fingering the designs along it before putting it away as he walked on, no destination in sight.

Clara glanced to the bank, and watched the man that called himself Gandalf leave. "Odd one, he is," she whispered to herself as she tried to push her TARDIS out of the bog. She started to feel the vast emptiness that the war must have brought. "I'm the last... I must be..." She tried to hold back her tears. "It's all gone, I can feel it..."

Jed heard it. "The Bringer was right...." he thought to himself.
He remained there, trying to determine the extent of the war plans. Were they going to attack Gallifrey? Or did they just consider it to be a threat?
