Correon sighed. It was that time of year again -- the eight year old children of Gallifrey were to head off to camp soon. This was a time in which the professors at the Academy would be watching the children to see which ones might or might not be worthy of going to the Academy.
This tended to be a stressful time for him, as he was on the High Council and also a professor. He would have to decide who was and who was not worthy. They could only take so many students.
He usually developed close attachments to some of the students during this time -- favorites. He couldn't help it.

Meanwhile, a little boy named Nathanufdofehadik (Nathan or Theta from now on) ran out of his house. His family had just moved to a new house and neighborhood on Gallifrey. He didn't know any of the kids in the area.
At his old house, he and his brother were the only real kids in the area. They had lived out in the country, away from everyone. Of course their family went into the main part of the planet sometimes, but his dad didn't really have many friends. Since Nathanufdofehadik hadn't gone to school yet, he didn't really know anyone his own age...besides his brother.

Emmehujidat approached Correon with a smirk.
"The camping trip will be productive, and my son is going to make it to the Academy."
Correon sighed, "Yes, I am aware that your son is eight years old. I'm sure he will do well."
"Of course he will," Emmehujidat bragged. "He's already doing the math problems of children typically five years older than him. He's going to President someday."
Correon shrugged, wishing to get out of this man's presence as soon as possible.
"I take it, then, that you are on the committee of making final decisions?" Correon asked.
Emmehujidat nodded, "As always."
Correon very much disliked Emmehujidat. It was largely because of Emmehujidat that Aragorn had had to regenerate.....

Tylerhathan, having just moved himself and his two children to a new house, knew that he would have to go into the capital and talk to someone there, filling out paperwork.
His two boys were also both eight now, and he would have to register them for the possibility of going to the Academy. He'd been putting it off for a long time.
He'd just set out from his house, going towards the city. He'd made it a point to not talk to other Time Lords, if at all possible. He hadn't really had a good conversation with anyone for eight years.
_______ Tylerelrug and his brother had just had a fight, and he wasn't about to go running after him. Instead, he decided to walk into the woods behind his families new house.

The Bringer made his way toward the city to take a look at what would be happening. As he made his way over he saw a man walking that way, a man whom he knew all too well, 'I'm so sorry.' he thought to himself, 'If I wasn't such an idiot Kari might have lived. She died...out of my need for vengeance.' The Bringer eventually made his way over to where he saw Corren and that conceited bastard Emmehujidat talking.
Gandalfnherwefbejsfenfguweejnf7kdnvljd walked toward the camp, on his way he saw a familiar face, "Hello Mr. Correon." he said as he passed Correon and Emmehujidat talking.

(The Bringer shouldn't be able to recognize Aragorn....unless he was at the Council meeting in which he regenerated. He's in a different regeneration, and his identity is supposed to be a secret. Only the people who were in the meeting should know. It's up to you whether or not you want the Bringer to have been there.)
Correon looked up at Gandalfnherwefbejsfenfguweejnf7kdnvljd. "Hello," he replied. "I hadn't heard...are you on the Committee as well?"
Emmehujidat glared at the Bringer. "Not if I have a say."
_____
Tylerhathan looked around. He hadn't been in the capital in 8 years either. Things had changed a bit. He was looking slightly lost.

"I'm just strictly here to observe for now." The Bringer said to Correon, completely ignoring Emmehujidat.

Correon nodded. "All right...well....I think that we could use you in the registration office. Believe it or not, some parents haven't put in an application for their parents.
He noticed that the Bringer had ignored Emmehujidat. He silently wondered if Emmehujidat had had something to do with Kari's death. Oh, he knew about it. It was a murder.
Emmehujidat hated to be ignored, "Well, aren't you going to address me?"

"I'd be glad to help out." The Bringer said as he turned to Emmehujidat, "I'd honestly rather not."

Correon nodded, "All right...then go to the government building...and give them this." He scribbled down a note about having the Bringer work there.
Emmehujidat practically screamed at the Bringer, "How could someone as low as you talk to me like that! How dare you!"

"Thanks Correon, I'll see you around." The Bringer said as he walked to the government building. "Oh and Emmehujidat? I thought we already discussed our...differences about...oh eight years ago."

Tylerhathan made his way to the government building that he would have to register his children at.

The Bringer froze up momentarily as he saw Tylerhathan walk in, "Hello there, how may I help you?" he asked while sending to him exactly what he was thinking, 'I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.'

Tylerhathan looked back at the Bringer. "It wasn't your fault," he sent. "I....I shouldn't have gotten romantically involved with Kari."
In a normal tone of voice he said out loud, "Hello....I...I just moved. I needed to sign some paperwork. Not only that, but I need to fill out an application for my children to enter the Academy."
