(it's okay...just wish you had discussed it with me OCC in a thread there for this board.)
Finally, when the tea was done, the medical doctor was informed of this. The cooks handed him two cups of steaming tea, which he began to carry back to Tyler's room.

“Oh, could I possibly have a look at that? It’s one of the newer models, isn’t it?” he asked excitedly at the sight of the General’s sonic screwdriver. “You see, I’m forever forgetting about mine... Not hard to see why,” he added ruefully, pulling out his own for comparison. The slim silvery shape was so very much like a penlight, no frills, bells or whistles.
His momentary excitement faded however in the face of the General’s assessment. “Parasites? Oh dear, that doesn’t sound good,” he said, shaking his head as he dug deeper into the Hunter’s files. The asthma he’d known about, of course... hard to miss that... and the allergies. The Doctor was busily trying to remember everything he’d ever learned about the regeneration process. Did health problems always carry over? It didn’t really matter in this case, because they certainly had, even down to the allergy to aspirin. How had they found that out anyway? Time Lords giving their children Earth drugs? Something didn’t quite add up there...
But that was another unnecessary tangent. There were these parasites to deal with, a much more immediate threat. “Radiation, hm... no, like you say, the levels are only slightly above normal. That can’t be it.” Shoulders slumped over, he stared at the screen blankly, willing it to provide an answer.
He started at the General's suggestion. “Force him to regenerate again, so soon? I hardly think that would be wise... No no, I can’t panic,” he muttered to himself. “I need to stay calm. My brother needs me to stay calm.” Taking a deep breath, he looked again at the files. “I wonder if he picked those parasites up on the planet they were surveying. I don’t know about these particular creatures, but perhaps fungus...? Or penicillin? Another Earthish idea, probably rubbish, but honestly I’m grasping at straws here,” he confided to the General with a shrug.

The General ran his fingers through his hair, "The best method other than regeneration would be to cut them out, but, that could cause brain damage..." He said, "radiation maybe...electricity? We could try electricity, I have nothing else, it won't cause him any harm," hopefully... He looked around for a defibrillator, one was on the wall, it only went to 7000V, that wasn't gonna be enough, he soniced the monitor of it, increasing the voltage to 10000V, and zapped Tyler's chest, nothing. Limit is 70000V, 20000V next... He soniced the monitor again, increasing it to 20000V, and zapped again, "there we go!" he said with a sigh of relief.

Tyler's second heart started beating, but otherwise, his condition remained much the same.
The medical doctor entered the room with the cups of tea. He handed one to the General and one to the Doctor. As he entered the room, he noticed that the Doctor still seemed to be holding his brother's medical files.
The unusual thing about both of the twins, and the thing that had puzzled several Gallifreyan medical personnel, was that Earth medication seemed to respond well to both of the twins. Of course the dosages had to be different -- they had to be specially formulated for Time Lords, but the general drug remained the same. There had always been a few Gallifreyans that happened to be helped by various drugs and such from other planets. The Doctor and his brother were simply unique in that several Earth medications seemed to work well for them....their bodies responded well to it...and not just that, but both the Doctor and Tyler were severely allergic to another Earth medicine -- aspirin. That in itself was curious. There were several doctors who knew the reason why, but most did not. Tyler's asthma happened to respond well to Earth type treatment.

"Well, good news, he'll live, he's still asleep, due to the asthma, in a few days he'll be fine." he said to The Doctor, "if you never looked at medical stuff, why did you call yourself the Doctor?" He took a sip of the tea presented to him, he swished it around in his mouth, and swallowed, "What an interesting flavour, makes your throat feel fabulous too, must have tannin or something in it." He said smiling to the Doctor, but then his mind turned to more puzzling things. Those parasites became extinct billions of years ago, I don't know, maybe, no, they searched the universe for them, there is something weird going on indeed...
((Yes, it is the cracks, for those wondering))

(I tried to hint to you guys, but guess it didn't work -- tea made the 10th Doctor better when he had a bad regeneration -- one of you guys might try putting it under Tyler's nose or something.....might help the bad regeneration stuff -- not the asthma part but the bad regeneration effects....) Tyler stirred slightly in his unconscious state, but didn't really get up or anything.

He smelt the tea. "This has tannin in it right? Tannin has a healing effect on Time Lords....." He said looking across at Tyler, "it might work." He ran over to Tyler, putting the tea under his nose, "if this doesn't work i'm going to look like a complete idiot," he said to himself.

When the General had moved over to where Tyler was, and had put the tea under his nose, Tyler's both of his hearts started beating normally. It wasn't long before Tyler opened his eyes. When he realized he was in a hospital, he let out a groan. He then looked at his brother and the General.
"Hi," he greeted them.
He studied the Second Doctor carefully. "How are you?"

The Doctor held his breath as the General agreed to try a defibrillator. As the seconds ticked by, he was less and less sure that this was even a good idea, never mind whether or not it would work. But before he could tell the General he’d thought better of it, the other Time Lord had already sent ten thousand volts into Tyler’s chest... to no effect. He tried doubling the voltage, and again the Doctor started to say something; again too late. But there was at least some response: a second heart appeared on the monitor, beating erratically, but beating. The Doctor let out the breath he’d been holding and relaxed enough to accept the tea he was offered, but he’d hardly taken one sip before his mind turned around and came back to the problem at hand. Though his brother’s second heart was now working, he was still unconscious.
“Why indeed?” the Doctor responded to the General’s question. “It’s because I like fixing things.” That was his standard answer now, but it wasn’t a complete lie; and some days, it felt like even he didn’t know why he’d chosen the name. “I’m glad you like it. Yes, that’s tannin you’re tasting, with a little caffeine for a pick-me-up...” He trailed off as the full implications of the General’s words sunk in. Practically bouncing along after his old friend, the Doctor watched excitedly, relief and new hope trying to outdo each other in his two hearts. “Good heavens, you’re right!” he exclaimed as the sounds from the monitors gradually normalized. Soon after, Tyler’s eyes blinked open and he groaned before— or possibly after— realizing where he was. The first word out of his mouth was a greeting; the next three were directed at his brother, who answered with a subdued smile. “What a silly question. I should be asking you that.”

Tyler grinned at Two. "I'm feeling all right....pretty good....but still kind of....sick....but at least I'm better. I guess the regeneration didn't go all that well....it was my first one....hopefully future ones will go better....and......hey.....have you regenerated since the last time I saw you? I can't remember...been a while. What have you been doing?"

He sounded a bit on the rambly side, reflected the Doctor as he listened to his brother; but at least there he was, talking, not lying there like a potato. When Tyler admitted to still feeling poorly, the Doctor laid a hand on his brother’s arm. “I should think so. I went through my first regeneration myself since we last saw each other. I thought it was pretty awful, but it was nowhere near as bad as all that. It’s not a competition, you know,” he added with a mock-stern look that lasted only a few seconds before resolving into a smile.
There was no point letting on how worried he’d been, so when Tyler asked what he’d been up to, the Doctor seized on the opportunity to change the subject. “Oh, all kinds of adventures... did I ever tell you about the Cybermen? Nasty fellows.” It was his turn to ramble. He planned on getting around to asking about what had happened, but there was no hurry and his brother might still be in a fragile state. Whatever had gone wrong with the regeneration, it had to have been traumatic.

Tyler shook his head as his brother had asked him about the Cybermen. "No, what are these Cybermen, and how did you encounter them?"
Tyler hadn't expected his first regeneration to go so badly. He'd seen regenerations before, and he knew that sometimes they were tough, but he'd never seen someone go through a rough one like his had been. And what had been the cause of it? He'd have to get the information from his brother later. Right now, he just wanted to listen to the Doctor, hearing his brother's voice again.
