Lani looked at her. "Skaro? Kaled? You sure he wasn't messing with you? I'm tempted to search on the internet."
*** The Librarian nodded. "We could go to my TARDIS. It's nearby and I'll be heading that way anyway. That is if it's agreeable to you all."

Aragorn nodded at the Librarian, "Sounds all right."
Emmehujiat sighed. He really didn't want to be in a low class Time Lord's TARDIS, but he wanted to know what was going on. He had to know. He had thought of himself as being in charge. As the most important Time Lord on the mission, he wanted to be there. Wrinkling his nose in complete disgust he nodded, "Fine."
Jed smiled, "Okay."
The Reaper only nodded. She really would have preferred not having to talk with these Time Lords much. But she was there on the mission as well. ________ Kari shrugged, "I don't know...he doesn't seem the type to mess with me...but maybe he was. Maybe I was just thinking that....well...he probably wouldn't be interested anyway. Maybe he was just messing with me." She let out a sigh.
"But he had a tool that he called a sonic screwdri....." She stopped. She realized how ridiculous that sounded. He had let her own, and she'd actually believed him. "Oh...." she continued out loud. A frown appeared on her face.

The Librarian nodded. "This way," she said and led the way to her TARDIS. She planned to sit out as soon as they left to do whatever they were going to do as she checked herself out. Maybe it was just a matter of becoming lost in her own thoughts.
*** Lani frowned as well. "I am sorry, Kari. I thought he was on the level too."

Aragorn, the Reaper, Jed, and Emmehudjiat followed the Librarian to her TARDIS, no one saying a word. When he saw the shape of the TARDIS that the Librarian's TARDIS had taken, Emmehujiat burst out laughing. "What is THAT supposed to be?" _______ Kari shrugged, "Well, I only just met him, but I'll know to keep my heart guarded around him. He is cute, but he doesn't seem to be very nice. I just wish that he would have turned out to be how I thought he was. The first decent guy that I have met around here -- but then I learn that he's not decent at all."
She frowned again, looking at her friend. Finally, she burst out into tears.

The Librarian frowned and looked at Emmehujidat. "It's the disguise that will keep people from thinking it as suspicious. What shape would you prefer it to take?" Though I doubt she would listen to your big-headed suggestion, she added to herself.
*** Lani went to Kari, comforting her. "Now, we may be wrong about him. Maybe he was just trying to be joke around. Maybe he was nervous and got his words mixed up. I know plenty guys that do that often."

Emmehujidat replied to the Librarian, "Well, something that is at least PLEASANT to look at. That red is ugly, and it looks to be boarded up. Something that was better -- anything -- for example MY TARDIS looks like a big house right now. Now aren't you going to open up the door?"
Aragorn sighed, anger building up inside of him, but he chose not to say anything. Sometimes it was just better to keep a mouth shut then to angrily yell at someone, especially when they were in the middle of a possible crisis. He needed Emmehujidat to actually listen to him.
_______ Kari nodded at Lani. "I don't really know why it bothers me -- I mean I just met him. He's not likely to have any sort of thoughts about me anyway....I just....I don't know...I guess I just found him especially attractive."

Lani nodded. "Yeah," she sighed. "Besides, who has time for relationships now. I mean, that big project, you know?"
*** "Yeah, and that blends in so well," the Librarian said as she unlocked the door, opening it for him.

Kari nodded, "Yes....I know.....it's just......" she sighed. "Oh well. Did you want to go out somewhere tonight and do something?"
Kari also happened to be on a swim team at the school, which also kept her busy.
She asked this, completely unaware that Dave was in the building. __________ Aragorn, Jed, the Reaper, and Emmehudjiat walked into the Librarian's TARDIS.
Emmehudjiat let out an annoyed groan when he saw the desktop theme -- it wasn't to his liking.
In response to the Librarian, comment he nodded, "Well it blends in much better than a stupid, boarded up, ugly box."

The Librarian suppressed a growl. She really did dislike him. "Fine. But on to business. Aragorn said he spotted something."

Aragorn nodded at what the Librarian had said. "Right...so did anyone notice the unusual sculptures that were around the campus....anyone besides me?"
Jed nodded at Aragorn. "I did...."
Emmehujidat shrugged before admitting, "I did.....disgusting things....."
The Reaper snickered and nodded.

The Librarian assumed that they would assume she knew about it, since she introduced the situation. She really didn't know why she didn't notice things. She would make sure to get a scan when this meeting was over.

Aragorn then continued, "Well, the thing is....I noticed that it was moving...seemed to be following....and so I scanned it with my sonic -- and, as I had suspected, it wasn't a sculpture. It's origin was that of Skaro -- a Kaled, to be exact, but mutated. Now, I have no idea whether or not these Kaleds may be working with those aliens that we are after -- but I thought that you should all be aware."
Emmehujidat started snickering. "A Kaled from Skaro...that planet is in the midst of a war....or I thought it was. Why would they be doing anything with anyone else?"
Aragorn replied, "Now that is what I'd like to know....and I think it is worth finding out. We need to determine whether or not they are working in conjunction with the others or if they are doing something else. They already have nuclear weapons and whatnot, so I doubt it would be Earth weaponry that they are after."

The Librarian nodded. "It may not seem like much, but we can't discount things. They could be working with a Pasejinar, or they could be on their own. Either way, we need to find out what they're up to, if not just to make sure they aren't going to get in our way."

Kari continued to wait for an answer from her best friend. ____________ Emmehujidat replied, "Their brains must be the size of peas -- stupid, stupid beings. What race goes to war like that until their species have mutated?" He made a face of disgust. "But whatever you want to do is fine by me. It is outside of our mission, so I'm not going to do anything about it personally....if you two want to, you'll have to investigate it on your own."
Aragorn then added, "But they seemed to be out of their time as well...."
Emmehujidat snickered again. "Are you suggesting that they have mastered time travel?"
Aragorn nodded with a frown, "That's what the evidence seems to point to."
Emmehujidat replied, "There must be some other explanation."

"Yeah, if you want, we can go do something," Lani said.
*** "If they have mastered time travel, that could make them a threat to Gallifrey," the Librarian said. "In all reality, it's up to you guys, but it would be a good idea to check it out." She might have to sit out if she was ill.
