Aragorn nodded at Lani and smiled. "Good," he thought to himself. "I'm doing this right...acting like a human....I got the right response."
"Nice to meet both of you," he said, hoping that those were the right words to say.
"What are you doing here all by yourself?" Kari asked him.
He responded with partial truth, "I'm waiting. for some friends..."
Kari nodded, "Oh...." she looked slightly disappointed. The way that he'd said it made it sound like he was waiting for a girlfriend or something. He seemed nervous about the topic.

The Librarian looked around for any sign directing her to the library. She looked around in her pockets for a fake ID. Kelly... What an imaginative alias. She rolled her eyes.

The Bringer looked around for some signs of where the library was as well, closing his eyes and imagining a library with the decor of the university, appearing in the library behid a bookshelf a moment later. He peeked out te Forrest to get an idea of where he was, sending the directions to the Librarian. The TAQDIS sparked a little. Great, using it to go to a place he doesn't know the coordinates of puts strain on it, just another bug.

The Librarian heard the directions. She followed them, recognizing the the voice of the Bringer in the message. She glanced over at the forest before going into the library. She took a deep breath and smiled. The books weren't as old as the ones in the Gallifreyan library, but it was better than nothing.

Kari asked, "Did you want us to wait with you so you're note waiting all by yourself?" The thought of Dave appearing or something caused her to want a guy to be with them, anyway.
Aragorn shrugged, "Um...sure....I guess."
He scooted over so that Kari and Lani could sit down next to him.

As the Librarian walked in the Bringer was still trying to put out the sparks on the TAQDIS, making it look like he was messing with a watch thanks to the perception filter. He took his attention away from his device for a moment to see the Librarian, "Oh, hello." he said as he got back to fixing the "watch."

Lani looked to Kari, then shrugged and sat down. She made room for Kari to sit between her and 'Greg'. She could tell he was interested in him in some way.

The Librarian looked over at the Bringer and went over to him. "What's wrong with it?" she asked, seeing he was messing with the thing on his wrist.

"Apparently visualization alone doesn't work very well, I need to know the coordinates or it strains itself. It should calm down in a few minutes." The Bringer said.
(Need to leave now.)

The Librarian nodded. "Oh, alright." She had almost forgotten about the TAQDIS. She looked around the library, at all the books.

Kari sat down next to Greg and Lani. She glanced at her friend, trying to see what she thought of him without actually asking. Aragorn didn't notice at all. He was preoccupied with his own thoughts. He hoped that he wouldn't do anything to scare them away.

Lani smiled. She nodded and gave her a 'Go on and talk with him' look. She thought they would make a cute couple, even if he was a total stranger... That is, for now. She hoped she would find someone.

Turning to "Greg" she asked him, "So .....what do you need from us?"
Aragorn looked at them, thinking for a minute, "Well....where is the school?"
Kari pointed in the right direction.
"Thanks," he said. "I really don't know anyone here yet."
"Do you have a place to stay?" Kari asked.
Aragorn nodded, "Yeah...my...TARDIS.....I have a room."
Kari had no idea what he meant by a "TARDIS", but shrugged. Aragorn saw the confused look on her face and realized his mistake, but she didn't seem to make a big deal of it.

Lani saw that she didn't make much of a deal about it. So she just shrugged it off. She finally stood up. "Well, Kari, maybe you should give Greg here a tour while I go look for something? I need to see about getting something for someone's birthday."

Kari replied to Lani, "It's getting dark...do you think it's safe....he saw you, too...what if he starts stalking you?"
Aragorn knew they were talking about someone else and asked, "What are you two talking about?"
Kari turned back to Aragorn, "A guy who was on campus...he was kind of creeping us out. He asked about me....that's all. He's another student."
Aragorn nodded, realizing that Earth was probably just as unsafe as some parts of Gallifrey.

The Bringer looked up as the TAQDIS calmed down. He smiled a bit at seeing the library, "They've got a decent selection, nothing like back home, but it'll keep me occupied for a bit. How about you?"
