"Alright, one second." Gandalf said as he sent a message to his supervisor, 'Hey Draze, it's Gabdalf. You know my friend Brax? Yeah, that one. Well you think we could get her a job in the Eye link section? I was thinking sixth rank. Oh...okay, fifth works too. Yeah, it wouldn't make sense for a new worker to be equal with me. Sure, okay. Wow, can the company afford that? That sounds great!' Gandalf smiled, "Alright, weve got you a job at the TARDIS Mechanization Corporation, in the division that links them to the Eye of Harmony. I tried to get you on equal terms with me but instead you'll be working right under me. Since they've heard good things about you from me you're almost getting the same pay as me, and all it costs me is a small cut. Just show up at the building tomorrow morning, I'll be there to show you the ropes. Does that work?

"Wait, you didn't have to do that. If it cuts your pay..." Braxa started, but then she realized that she was starting to sound ungrateful. "That works great. Thank you so much."

Gandalf smiled, "Don't worry about my cut, it's barely anything and we can make the score 723 to 2 now." he chuckled, "So is your division as everything okay or should I try and change it?"

"No, that's fine. Don't go changing anything. Don't want you taking another pay cut for me," Braxa said. She couldn't help it now. "Well, since we both have jobs now, maybe I could help you pay your rent. I mean, once I'm out of Mom's, I can visit my aunt any time I like." She just hoped he knew what she was getting at.

Gandalf smiled, "No need to be concerned about me, I always get by." his expression morphed into a smirk as Braxa went on, "Braxamonica, are you suggesting we move in together?"

"Maybe I am," Braxa said, kinda looking up at him and kinda paying attention to where they were going. She saw Kyra and Walef sitting on the stairs to the library. "Hello," she said to them.
Kyra looked up at them. "Hello."

As they stepped into the library, Braxa sent to Gandalf, "Okay..." She started looking around for her mother. She had taken over the position of head librarian after Aunt Keli. If it wasn't for her speech, Braxa was sure she would still be working here.

"Might be a good idea," Braxa said as she approached her mother.
Dahlia was sorting through books when her daughter approached her desk.
"Mum?" Braxa said.
Dahlia looked up at her and smiled. "Hello, have a nice walk?"
Braxa nodded. She had told her mother that she went for a walk when she was actually going to her aunt's.

"Well, that doesn't give me much time," Braxa sent back to him.
Dahlia looked at Gandalf and smiled. "Hello, Gandalf."
"Um, Mum, Gandalf helped me get a job where he is," Braxa said. "And you know how I promised I'm move out when I had a place to stay and some income?"
Dahlia nodded.

Gandalf stepped in, "Well, since I've had to take a few pay cuts recently, as well as one to get her the job, and since we get along fairly well, we were planning to combine our income for the use of renting a single house for the time being."

Dahlia looked at Braxa, sending her a few questions telepathically. Braxa sending her some responses back.
Finally, Dahlia looked at Gandalf and nodded. "Alright. You'll have to talk to my husband about this, but you have my consent."
Braxa smiled and practically dove over the counter to hug her. She knew her dad loved Gandalf, so it was practically a 'yes' from both.
