Physical Description: 5"8 Tall, Slim. Blue eye colour. Has ginger hair, which stops at the base of his neck. Has is styled, so it looks short, but neat. Usually styles his hair in a spiked up at the front fashion, but does change it. Has faint dark circles under his eyes, from staying up late. Wears usually dark jeans, with a t-shirt, often an open shirt, 3/4 length sleeves, on top of that. Wears sneakers, and a small necklace, with two small pendants, one of a pistol and one of a tree. Also has glasses for reading/working, but most often wears contact lenses.
Personality: Josh in generally a very pleasant, yet quiet boy. He too is quite clever, but tends to feel intimidated by others he feels are above him. He's loyal to his friends and family and shares a lot of values which are similar to Gunman. He is often quick to react and can be witty at times. But, true to the stereotype of is kind, he too has some anger problems. He much like a dynamite stick with a short fuse; he's perfectly fine if you don't anger him, but if you do (light the fuse), it doesn't take him long to explode into quite a violent person.
History: Josh was born to a secure family. He was the first child and was taken good care of, his mother and father both very loving towards him. At the age of nine, however, his families attention then turned to his new born little brother, Sammy. At first, Josh hated his little brother and was always pining for attention from his parents. As he grew more, he began to accept his little brother, be it slowly. During his high school years, he was in the same class as Gunman, but he never spoke to her or went near her. He only knew what she looked like and was always, 'the weird kid a few desks away'.
During his later years of high school, the planet fell into the state of cold war and then during the next year, the civil war began. By that time, he had already fully formed strong bonds with all members of his family. They were all captured and did not make it to any refugee camps.
All four members of the family were separated. He was kept in a single cell and fed very little, allowed no contact with anyone apart from the men of the opposition that visited him. He was regularly beaten, as he was not 'fit for any medical experiments', when in reality, they just wanted a quiet punch-bag, who would take everything without a word of defiance.
Later on, his mother, father and little brother were reunited with him, but only briefly. Josh was then taken to an empty hall, with not much life left in him, knowing he would die. It was there he first formed his own personal beliefs having a self revelation in what he thought was going to be his last moments. But, he then was saved by Gunman and was taken in as part of the mob she saved. His family too were part of that mob and so the Carter's survived the war.
The whole family now takes up residence in Gunman's black of flats, Josh's father now part of her criminal gang. Josh is often left as the man of the house, something he doesn't react well to. His confidence often wavers in these times. He has attended a few raids, but with very bad results, so he s not often asked to be part of the criminal gang.
However, he too has found solace in Gunman, him being the other half of the two she spends her free time with. He is her best friend and was taught how to repair the majority of her arm by Douglas. Both Josh and Gunman have shared a lot of fun times together, which inspires his little brother. His little brother looks up to Josh and Gunman, seeing them as his heroes, and is constantly asking his brother or Gunman what they've been up to.
Of course, things haven't always been so great for Josh. He often on the end of a few violent attacks from Gunman, or catches her in the middle of her bad habit. He hates seeing Gunman the way she is right now, as she's changed from the earlier days of the gang. He wants to spend more time with her but,
only after her problems have been sorted. He too tries to help her cope with her relapses. Josh too is seriously concerned with her current intake and other issues, causing him to seek a therapist for her problems and his own too.
And, with all of time's progressions, Josh feels very strongly about Gunman and has developed an odd hate towards Douglas. He dislikes it whenever Douglas is around the both of them and enjoys it when it's just Gunman and him. He has been accused of falling in love with Gunman, but has never admitted anything towards the subject.
