(OOC: For those of you who will be able to pick up on who the Annoying Female is and you like her, no offense intended. Stacked and I REALLY hate this character. Since no one has signed up for her, I'll play her for this thread. Also, please note that her annoying tendencies might be more exaggerated than they actually are in the show...but I'll leave that up for readers and roleplayers to decide. If someone actually does want to play her, then this thread won't actually count as canon for the RP. It'll just be some fun for Stacked and I have together. And if she DOES come in, she's never ever going to marry or date the Tenth Doctor. I'll have him be just as annoyed with her as I am....although he will talk to her and will tolerate her presence. What the Eleventh Doctor and other Doctors do with her will be up to the individuals playing those Doctors.)
A certain female with blond curly hair used a scanning device to try to locate the Doctor. The only trouble was that the scanner did not narrow in on the Doctor. Rather, it simply scanned for a Time Lord, any Time Lord. Since the Doctor was the only living Time Lord that she knew, she mistakenly made the assumption that whomever it picked up on would be the Doctor. Smiling, the woman commented, "There you are, Doctor." Using a vortex manipulator that she had in her possession, she used it to teleport to the origin of the signal.
The woman said to the Mentalist, "Hello, Sweetie. It's been a long time, Doctor."
She then made a flirtatious gesture with her hair and lips, posing for the Mentalist.

The Mentalist sat on the park bench, as the female wandered over. He was alone apart from her.
He'd just been sitting, watching the world pass by and trying to get some peace from the ruckus in his head. The amount of times his others had wandered around in his head, ranting and raving about whatever came into his head, was immense and gave him more than just a headache. It angered him a lot and whoever this was was not helping.
As she spoke to him and posed, he took a look at the woman. His fist tightened in his pocket, around his pocket. Two things were obvious to him, so he let her know. He muttered.
"What did you say to me, you stupid skank?"
He felt the cold metal of his blade start to warm against his hand. He didn't care who this was, anyone who tried that kind of trick on him would be quick to die. She had mistaken his sole identity and that kind of behaviour irritated him. As he conversed with his alters, loosing himself in his head, he walked back into the black.
There they all sat; his angered alter, his childish alter and the gate keeper. The gate keeper turned her head to him and then turned back, not even saying a word to him. The childish alter simple sat in the corner, playing with a few toys and laughed quietly to himself, quite happily. The angered alter turned to glare at the core personality who'd just come in.
The core's words to them were spoken aloud, his only way of talking to them. He had no voice from the outside in. His speech was very quiet, so much so, he hoped the blonde didn't hear him. He didn't want to ruin the surprise.
"Does anyone actually care, if I get rid of her?"
Inside his mind, the gate keeper simply shrugged. She wasn't all that talkative. The child like alter took a look up from his toys and gave a little yelp, crawling over to the gate keeper.
"Ew! Get it away!"
The gate keeper picked up the childish alter from her feet and gave him a hug, holding him at her waist. He was only about eight and he still looked it. The angered alter spoke next, smiling, his teeth beginning to point at the tips slightly. He started to drool a little, licking his teeth.
"I'll do it if you want."
He let out a breath, that only showed his insanity more.
"I'd like to cut a slice through her..."
The core nodded, but didn't switch yet. He left his head for the time being and glared at the female in front of him. He wondered if she would go away, if he stared long enough.

While the Mentalist was having his internal conversation, which she had no idea about, she put a finger to his lips and shook her head. "Spoilers..." she said in an annoying voice.
She had moved directly in front of him. His comment to her didn't disturb her all that much. After all, this was a different regeneration of the Doctor...one that she had never seen before. She blushed at the thought that the Doctor would view her in such a way. Maybe this new regeneration of his did find her appealing. It certainly seemed that way to her.
She laughed a bit at his comment. "Yes," she said in response. She meant that as an affirmation to what he had called her, although she frowned when she remembered that he'd called her stupid.
She then takes her fingers off of the Mentalist's lips and gets out her little diary.
"Let's see, where are we....have we had our wedding yet?" Of course she was trying to manipulate the "Doctor" into thinking that they'd been married. That was the kind of person that she was -- deceptive and manipulative and annoying. There had really been no wedding, and there never would be.
(don't kill her quite yet...I have one more post for her)

The minute she put her finger to his lips, he grabbed her wrist and threw it off. He glared at her, that murderous tint in his eye. The Mentalist had no idea what the girl was talking about. He lent forward onto his knees, his arms resting on his legs. The man kept looking up, this female getting far more irritating with every passing second. Every single move she made was just so annoying, her behavior just wasn't acceptable.
As she blushed in front of him, he looked up at her, trying to be as sympathetic as he could. It was obvious this woman was delusional, and he knew how that felt, but he'd be nice before he killed her.
"Okay there, Miss. I'm-for-sale-buy-me, can you stop calling me Doctor? It's not my name. And for one, for the love of Rassilon, stop touching me. I really don't want any contact with you."
He stood up, now very angry. Her last comment had annoyed him so much, the prospect of being married to her, against what he'd had, just rubbed salt in old wounds. He stole the book from her, closed it and put it on the bench behind him, not removing his eyes from her. Grabbing her top, he held her up in the air for a while.
"Get this into your thick head. I will never marry a girl like you, people like you disgust me. And believe you me, I'm not disgusted easily."
He smirked as he brought out the blade from his pocket and let the point rest against her side. Hopefully, she'd get the message and sharpish.

She stared at him. Something seemed to be off, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Sighing, she said, "You look exhausted. If only you knew how to fly the TARDIS as well as I do. You leave the breaks on when you land. That's not good for the TARDIS, you know. You really should take better care of it." With that, she shook her finger at the Mentalist, even though he was holding her.
River then commented, "This is certainly the first time that I have come across THIS regeneration of yours. It will take some getting used to. Your current regeneration seems to have an odd sense of humor." She nodded at the knife.
She'd seen the glare and then laughed slightly, "You are a good actor, Doctor."
Thinking that he was just being playful, River responded, "All right then..if you don't want to be called Doctor, what name would you go by? As you know, I prefer the name River Song."
When he had thrown the diary, she commented, "You'll be carrying one just like it some day....but it's no fair peeking. Spoilers."
"This regeneration is a little rough, isn't it," she commented, nodding her head to the hand holding her off the ground. "But this is fun."
She looked down at her red shoes. Her sunglasses fell out of her pocket as she was lifted into the air.

The Mentalist watched her as she spoke, making sure the knife was kept into her. He took in her comments, replying to each one in turn.
"I feel exhausted. And what are you talking about?! I haven't driven one of those in years."
He watched her finger and got even more irritated, one of his alters popping up.
"Oh just kill her now! I can't hold back for much longer, this thing needs to die."
The core kept quiet, not replying to his counterpart. He replied.
"So you do have a name. More than I expected you to remember. Right."
He stopped. Wait a second, this could be... He smirked, finishing his replies, taking on a guise.
"Oh, River Song, I'm sorry, I didn't recognize you. Yes, please, call me Doctor."
he turned back to the diary, smiling at her. Taking a glance at it, he turned back to her.
"Alright, I won't look. I won't spoil it for myself."
Letting her down, he laughed, putting a hand behind his head in embarrassment.
"Yeah, this one is a little rough, terribly sorry. It's fun, yes, I suppose it is."
Taking the blade back and putting in his pocket, he picked up her glasses and hand them back. He smiled as their hands touched, his alters speaking up.
"What the heck are you doing?! You're an idiot-"
His whispered to himself.
"It's all part of it, be patient."
Coughing, he went back to River. The clouds had already come over, causing the sky to turn black with the night. The street lamps in the park had caused them to tint orange, turning it into a beautiful picture.
The Mentalist looked to River, figuring her out. t was obvious, by the way she acted, she was in love with 'The Doctor'. he could have a lot of fun with her now. He kept smiling at her, trying to lure her in.
"So, River, now you've found me again, why don't we go somewhere a little quieter... How about I take you out for dinner somewhere, where we can talk properly? How's that sound to you?"
Grinning sweetly, he waited for her reply.

Once River was on the ground level again, she put her right hand to her hair to make sure that it wasn't too messed up. That's when she saw her sunglasses that had fallen earlier.
"How could you not recognize me, Doctor? Do your eyes change that much? Well, no matter, now that you know who I am....."
She grinned. This was the first regeneration of the Doctor that she'd encountered that had responded to her like that. Perhaps she really could alter his time line so that they did fall in love and get married.
She responded in a suggestive tone, "Good....you better not look at that. Spoilers...."
"You know...I think that this is my favorite regeneration of you that I've met yet," she said as she accepted the sunglasses from the Mentalist.
She quickly put them on, raising them a bit with her hand, looking at the Mentalist in a suggestive way. When their hands had touched, River let out a pleasurable sound. "That was good," she said out loud.
River looked up at the sky and smiled at the Mentalist. "How romantic....the two of us together like this...."
It wasn't difficult for River to be lured in by the Mentalist's advances.
When the Mentalist had asked her if she'd like to go somewhere quieter...go out to dinner with him, she smiled at him, looking lovingly into his eyes. "That would be wonderful, Doctor," she said in her typical suggestive tone. "And Doctor, this may turn out to be the night you start keeping a journal yourself...."
She moved her head closers to his and gave him a kiss on the lips. She pulled away and said, "Don't worry...it's not halogenic lipstick. It won't hurt you."

At River's first comment, The Mentalist just grinned and replied, showing no malice.
"As I said before, sorry! Yeah, my eyes do change, looks like I became a little blind. The contacts aren't helping much, sadly."
He laughed.
"I don't think I'll be able to read the book anyway, being blind and all. And thank you, this is turning out to be one of my favorites so far."
He winked at her, but was thrown off. As River let out a sound, he twitched. He was caught off guard by her, he'd not expected something as smutty as that. Trying not to get too agitated, he simply smiled. His alter reared behind him, The Mentalist's physical shadow changing a little behind him. That hadn't happened before, but hopefully, she wouldn't notice. Even in the shadow, the pointed teeth could be seen. He replied to her comment, playing around with her, mocking her happily and trying not to offend her.
"Romance, my dear, what are you suggesting?! I simply see this as two friends going for dinner. But, I am glad you like the idea-"
He froze a little, getting nervous. What on earth was this human trying this time? He continued, his voice a little jumpy.
"Oh? I'm not too much of a writer, bit clumsy with words."
He didn't expect what came next. It was then the shadow and the core switched. He let her do what she wanted, knowing she now deserved her fate. As she puled back, he tried to mimic the core who'd receded. The alter spoke.
"Why would you hurt me?"
He gave a little laugh, letting grow into a loud manic one. He continued, looking at her, the pointed teeth showing well. They weren't the size of vampire fangs, no-where close, but they were sharp for normal teeth. It was sure to scare her.
"That'd be a really stupid idea, Blondie. I expect no more of you though-"
He took out the blade and lent forward, whispering in her ear. Placing it on her throat, his voice turned into a slight snarl.
"You know how I said I was The Doctor?"
He pressed the blade down on her skin.
"I lied."

River felt the blade cut into her skin, but she wasn't dead quite yet, although she knew it wouldn't be too long. She found that she could still speak, and speak she did. She managed to croak out a few words. "Oh....my...mistake....but you're a Time Lord...I thought he was the only one left...."

The Mentalist smiled, as River started to realize her fate. His teeth were pointed now, saliva coating them. His hand pressed the blade into her more, finally feeling the skin break.
Hearing her croak out a few words, he laughed quietly in her ear, answering.
"Your precious Doctor is such a liar... I am a time-lord. Read the inscription on the metal in your neck, then tell me you love me."
He was of course being sarcastic. If she'd been as close as she'd said she was to The Doctor, then reading the inscription on his blade should not been a problem. And more so, she should know his name.
Taking the blade away from her neck, he flashed it in front of her eyes, teeth covered and dripping with saliva. He really was insane.
"Read it."

River did read the inscription that was on the blade. She hadn't learned her Gallifreyan from the Doctor, but rather, another Time Lord from before the Time War. She had managed to seduce this Time Lord, although when he found out she was human, he had run off to take a shower to wash off the human filth. She'd told this other Time Lord that she was an alien, and he'd believed her. Although most Time Lords were intelligent, the one that she met was not so much. Ever since her rejection by this other Time Lord, she'd wanted to seduce another one -- and she had heard about the Doctor from her previous lover.
She stared at the Gallifreyan writing and then said out loud, "It says the Mentalist..." Her neck was bleeding now, and she was scared...very scared. This man's teeth....she couldn't explain it. It was like he had changed in appearance, but she didn't think Time Lords could do that.

The Mentalist took the blade back from her eyes, snapping it away. Then, standing in front of her. He kept an eye on her, making sure she wouldn't go away.
Seeing the blood seep down from her neck, he grinned, licking his lips. Taking his index finger, he ran it along the line of the cut, letting it run down him. he laughed quietly, then shook his hand of the blood.
He could see she was scared, enjoying every second of it. The mentalist leaned forward, stared at her and grinned again, showing his teeth. He stroked the side of her face, with his bloodied hand.
"Correct, that's what it says. So, what do you know of me, River?"
Raising the blade back to her throat, he continued.
"I'd chose your next words wisely, my dear."

River replied, "I know nothing about you except that you are a Time Lord -- that means you have two hearts, you're from Gallifrey....and I don't know...you don't like humans?"
"The Doctor...he never mentioned you," she told him, trying to make it sound like it was the Doctor who had been her lover. She wished it would have been that -- especially with his good looks.
She felt him touch her neck. Although she was scared of him, she also wondered if he was just playing with her. Maybe that's how some Time Lords were. "Can I feel your hearts?" she asked him. "You're so handsome...like the Doctor."
She would give anything to be in the arms of a Time Lord again.

The Mentalist listened to her, being set off by her words. He became far more animated, throwing his hands up in the air and pacing around in a small circle.
"WHAT?! Not even once! He didn't say a thing about me?! I thought my reputation would precede me, even after the war. Now I'm really upset-"
He spun back round to River, as she asked him a question, looking quite angry.
"Did I say you could speak?"
As she did, he felt something inside him well up. He remembered something, from the core's lifetime. He saw the little memory play back.
That same cell. But with The Psychologist there, it seemed so much better. Bigger, warming, everything that she was just seemed to seep into the walls. He could feel it, even now.
She smiled over the table at him, finishing up one of the last questions.
Leaning over the table, she gave his hair a playful ruffle, to which he smiled. Therapy was going well today, he'd behaved well, she was really grateful. Walking round to his chair, she knelt down to his level, sitting on the floor. Her black note book lay open on the floor next to her, as she looked up at him.
"Alright, we're almost done for today, you'll be glad to know! To be honest, I'm very impressed with you Mentalist, you're really progressing well. We've had a few blips here and there, but it's overall, very good. Just a last physical check-up and I'll leave you for today."
He jokily frowned and pouted at her remark of leaving, to which she laughed. She spoke again, sounding happy.
"Oh, you really are a character you. Right, can I feel your hearts?"
Nodding, she sat up, and he undid the first few white buttons of his top. Thanking him quickly, she placed two fingers over the area of his heart and closed her eyes, counting the beats and calculating a few things. He looked down at her, feeling her hands warmth. It was rare to have real contact with someone, so it meant a lot to him.
But underneath all his words, he was dying to tell her he was in love. Her voice lingered in his ears, like sweet music. As he kept glancing down, he saw her pretty face again and felt a surge go through him. He would have given anything to just lean down to her and give her a kiss then, but he knew he couldn't.
It tore him up.
He screamed at River, her words the same as hers. It caused him to switch, the core being thrown back out.
Gripping his head, he yelled again, sweat running down his brown and his teeth changing. He whined in pain, the transition not going smoothly. His eyes were caught somewhere between the two of them, his teeth sticking too. Falling back a little, he felt immense pain and yelled at River again, starting to keel over.
He started to take a few swings her, then went mad. Wildly swinging at her with his blade, he tried his best to hit her, in his state of rage.

River tried to back away from the Mentalist, but fell on a log that was nearby. "What's wrong with you?" River asked him. "It's like you're mentally ill or something."
She was losing a lot of blood, but she hoped that maybe this insane Time Lord would develop feelings for her. She might still be able to seduce him. "Your fingers felt nice," she told him in the most seductive tone she could.
"Why are you yelling at me? And why does it look like you're regenerating? Your teeth and your eyes...." she asked him in an annoying voice.
She added seductively, "I don't think the Doctor knew you were still alive. I can't understand why he never referred to you, though."
